| Reize reunites with his friends. But... |
| Reize Seatlan | It's approaching the afternoon... The sun is still up in this beating earth. The heat continues to wail and slam against anyone who braves the Bare Desert. This was the location that Reize was lost upon. ...Speaking of being lost, there is a young boy slowly emerging from an exit point of a cavern. Priel had long been gone, carrying the treasure that she took with her. It was their treasure. Reize emerges, holding his hand out with the copper ore. Comical tears roll along his cheeks. "We had enough treasure to become an offical clan..." In another hand, he has a roasted sandcrab. MUNCH! He's hungry, after all. |
| Shiki Misaki | Did we overprepare? Maybe. Shiki appears on the scene! She's got two spears and Mr. Mew has two small spears, and she has rope, and potions, and phoenix down, and she also has a bag of rocks to huck at Priel should she need them! She's also sweating in a most unladylike manner. Oh, sure, it's not TOO far from Fluorgis, we'll be fine, surely. No, no we will not. The plus side of all this is she's making a pretty unmistakeable racket. |
| Lenn | Lenn is carrying a staff, she's using as a walking-stick. She's got all her gems, which will certainly come in handy, and a backpack full of supplies. However, the heat is more oppressive than she bargained for. Her dress is starting to cling to her in most undignified ways. |
| Lily | Lily's not exactly the strongest, but she's toting some medical supplies that she probably doesn't know how to use and doesn't need anyways in a sack slung over her back. Consequently, her progress has been a bit lopsided from the added weight - and several times she's almost toppled over. The good news though is that the group has had plenty of water thanks to her magical conjuration of it at opportune moments. The bad news is that she's not b een able to affect the temperature much, and is in a similar situation to Lenn. White robes soaked with perspiration... "Somewhere..." She rather suddenly stops, glancing about in several directions and rubbing at the jewel on her forehead with a troubled look on her face. |
| Reize Seatlan | "Guh... what will I tell the guys?" He mutters, "We had the treasure..." The antenna hair droops along with Reize's face. "Stupid Priel." Chomp. Yeah, Reize is chewing the roasted crab. Yes, that includes the shell. He's /THAT/ hungry. Forgot to eat saving Shiki, forgot to grab anything to eat in the ruins because there was NOTHING to eat. So, Reize is eating now. He looks towards his pendant that lies around his neck. It's good to have it back. He runs his thumb along the jewel. ...Which has a dark glow emanating. Bang. Bang. Bang. "..Guh, what is that noise...?" He can hear some sort of racket, which drives him to mutter. As he journeys ahead, he sees three individuals. He is unable to recognize them, due to the distance, but... "Ooooooiiiiiiiiiii!" They seem friendly enough, right? |
| Shiki Misaki | I'd know that voice anywhere! Shiki drops everything. Literally. Drops. Everything. "REIZE" And she's off like someone told her she had two minutes to get to A-East. She isn't even thinking about it, just the sheer fact that he's alive and she can hear him and he's /alive/ And Shiki makes the first blow of what will surely be a multi-hit combo as she sprints right up to /grab hold and make sure this is real/. |
| Lenn | Lenn smiles, as she follows Shiki. She doesn't drop anything but picks up the pace. She, also grabs onto Reize. "See, I told you he'd make it out on his own. But now we can help him back to Fluorgis. |
| Lily | Lily continues rubbing the forehead gem for a few seconds, but a particular voiceshocks her straight into complete momentary paralysis. "That...that sounds like..." Eyes shining bright with overwhelming joy and relief, Lily waves her arms, and -- and well... Takes off like a rocket. "You're ALRIGHT!" No, quite really, there's a burst of pressurized wind as she goes sailing across the ground, leaving a dust cloud behind. She hadn't seen the others running in-- thanks to pure tunnel vision-- Which means that the group is about to get ROCKET GLOMPED and possibly knocked into a pile! |
| Reize Seatlan | As Reize continues to walk along that long desert, Reize pockets the copper ore. Well, it was one of the items that Ivo asked for, so that they can get the garden fixed up. Admittedly, Reize forgot the details behind the necessity for it, but... Oh hey, the three individuals are coming his way. See? Reize knew that they'd be friendly. Then, as they come closer, they are more recognized. His eyes light up and he brightens to see the arrival of three of his--- Hggghkk! Reize is caught by Shiki, who is the first to spring against him. And then Lenn stacks up. And Lily is the last one. "Guh!" And as the group hits the sand, Reize starts laughing despite of the bit of soreness from the impact. "It's good to see you all again..." He offers a smile, "Sorry I worried you all." |
| Shiki Misaki | "ohmygoshimsosorryohmygoodnessyourealivereizeimsosorryimsosorryimsogladyourealivei'msorryreizeimsosorry" OK, it's harder to climb back up than it is to fall down. Shiki's unashamedly just letting her insecurities out again right now, shaking like a leaf as she does so. She looks down at Reize, sand and tears on her face. "Nnnnf..." She can't help but give a watery smile. "...feels like everything I do, depends on you..." |
| Lenn | Lenn nods. "We got tired of waiting, decided to meet you part-way." She lets up, extracting herself from the pile so everyone else can, too. "Shard Seekers wouldn't be the same without you. |
| Lily | Lily is NOT LETTING GO, notably. For one with little strength, she's gripping onto Reize-- probably an arm-- with a vicegrip-like ferocity. "Shiki thought you were gone... dead... but you're not! We were... we were REALLY WORRIED!" |
| Reize Seatlan | A faint smile is given to Shiki, seeing how ashamed she feels. He shakes his head while gazing at her tearful face. A hand is placed over towards her forehead. "One step at a time, Shiki. Even though you will have to act on your own one day, just remember you have friends by your side. You will never be alone." A glance is turned towards Lenn, who extracted herself. "Thank you guys, I appreciate it." He rubs the back of his head, regarding the Shard Seekers not being the same. Only a smile stirs from the statement. It is good to have his friends here. Annnd of course, Lily is holding onto one of the arms in a vicegrip. Oh god. Trying to make use of his hand while it is free, he pats Lily on her head. He only smiles her way, "Don't worry. I'm still here." He grins, "We're all together and that's what's important." He muses, "I am just glad that everyone is safe." He looks around the desert, frowning at the surroundings. "We should head back to Fluorgis..." Stomach grumbles... Comical tears, "I'm hungry..." |
| Shiki Misaki | "Thank you..." Shiki says, still holding onto Reize probably just as much as Lily is. "Come on," she says, standing up the three of them. "Let's go home." That feels so easy to say. "Let's go get some ice cream, or something." |
| Lenn | Lenn nods, "I think, maybe, he'll want something a bit more substantial than Ice cream, though. A trip to the tavern for a good, hearty meal, maybe? I could definitely use a drink, and I'll bet you could, too." She straightens herself up. "Note to self: I'm living in the desert now. Start making Ice crystals. |
| Lily | "... Hungry?" Lily mouths the unfamiliar word. Sure, someone people have said it, and sure she's kept eating when people say she must, but whatever this feeling is, she still seems to be confused by the notion for whatever reason. "Mmmh! Let's get out of this burning place with all the gritty sands... back to Fluorgis!" |
| Reize Seatlan | As Reize finally gets up with the help of Shiki and Lily, the young man looks over towards Lenn. "It's good to see all of you again." With Lily, Lenn, and Shiki around, the trip back may be easier. ...However, Lily will feel something strange. Something odd. Something 0wrong. It's a sickening, corruptive feeling. She can feel, and possibly see that it is coming from the pendant. The others, not even Reize, can see the presence of darkness. Yet, it lingers ominiously. Waiting... |
