| Shiki Misaki | It's late at night, following the Shard Seekers' rescue of Reize. Well, 'rescue'. In any case, he's back. | Shiki Misaki | "Yeah." "When we were travelling in the desert, watching one anothers' backs, I told him everything- that I was dead, that this body is fake, that a big guy with dreadlocks wanted to eat me; and he just went 'ok, that's cool, doesn't change a thing." Suddenly she realises it may have been a bit of a dumb idea to mention all three of those things in the same breath to someone else. |
| Lenn | Lenn raises a brow. "Dead, Huh? Don't look very dead to me. You're close enough to alive to be a friend, that's all I care." She shrugs. "With Elfheim gone, if I stuck to people like me for friends? I'd never have any." |
| Shiki Misaki | "Yeah, huh, it's a complicated story. Sufficed to say everyone in the Reaper's Game is technically dead, competing for a second chance to be alive again, except now the game's crashed out so we're..." Shiki gestures vaugely. "I just thought to myself... how much kindness and forgiveness do you have to have, to be able to..." She gets a wistful look. "Anyway." Smiles a bit. "With me and him it's fire-forged partnerships, secrets shared on lonely nights and pulling me out of monster guts. How did you fall for him?" |
| Lenn | Lenn says, "Literally." She blushes. "When I met him, It hit me just how readily he accepted people. His kindness, his gentleness. And then we fell on each other... And his hands..." She looks away. "By tradition where I come from, we'd be engaged now, from that..." She gulps. "I don't want to hold him to it, though...""" |
| Shiki Misaki | "Khaaa... yeeeaah... I heard about that," Shiki says. "It sounded a little strange... hope you don't mind me saying it..." She scratches her foot on the floor awkwardly and goes to sit down. Then, she sighs. "Whatever are we going to do, eh, Lenn? I hardly want to compete with you for him. I mean, that's not usually a 'thing' that I'm familiar with..." "Not that I don't like the idea..." she says, looking ridiculous as she smiles as much as she can with such a red face. "But hey, yeah, I like that idea. Hope he likes it too." She thinks, being silent for a minute. "Lenn...?" "Tomorrow, let's go out and hit the town together. I want to know everything about you, and share everything about myself with you. OK?" |
| Lenn | Lenn nods, "I'd like that. I've always suspected there was more than looking really good, and having really nice clothes to you." She smiles to Shiki, and extends a slender hand. "I think the bazaar could do without me setting up for a day." |
| Shiki Misaki | Shiki Misaki takes Lenn's hand... stands up... and goes for a hug as well, because why not. "I'd like to see that, as well. I can't wait to get to know you, Lenn." She gives a sunny smile. "Because that's why we're here for one another, now, right?" "Friends against the world... hearts against the darkness." |
| Lenn | Lenn nods, and returns the hug, patting Shiki's back. "We'll stick together... I'm not much help on those, but if you take one of those job postings, and want a little help... Maybe I can do something... |

| Lenn | Lenn says, "I'm the one who'll actually be a burden... I think I actually have one offensive spell I can use?" She shrugs. "Everything else is empowering someone else."" |
| Shiki Misaki | "Well," Shiki says, "We'll see what comes of it. Not all the missions are about fighting. I think I saw one that was just about picking flowers! We'll be able to find things for everyone to do." So, with that idea in mind, we will set off towards a happier tomorrow. |
