| A Rough Encounter |

| After Reize's time of reflection, he got ready to depart for Fluorgis to attend the celebration, but undergoes an unexpected and rough encounter. |
| Reize Seatlan | Earlier the night, Reize had spent the time reflecting at the Dias Plains. He spoken to that voice that has aided him so far. However, he is left with te impartment of words: Do not let the light waver. The Child of Light considers those words. A faint smile grows as he walks along the plains. However it becomes clear that Reize is nearing the end of the plains and is quickly approaching Baron, the kingdom responsible for the Heartless plaguing Fluorgis. ..Reize opts to take another path This brings him back to the plains that has little remarkability. The path would lead towards the magical village of Mysidia. However, the plains are not without its threat of monsters. |
| Annalise | Everything was wrong. Magic was at work here, she knew it. Some sort of evil magic spell that she couldn't break free of. The darkness of night blinked from existence as she fell through the portal, as did the horse she was riding on. Falling several feet, the cloak around her catches and wraps her limbs as the new arrival hits and rolls on the forest floor, entrapping her for several moments before the cloaked figure manages to pull free and push to their feet. With a hard breath, the person pushes through the dull throb of pain and takes off in a run, risking a glance behind them if only for a moment before concentrating on the trees ahead. The sudden appearance of the clearing made her stomach drop with dread, knowing that it would give more opportunity to be spotted by whoever or whatever it was that was chasing after her. Or the mage that might be scrying her from elsewhere. |
| Reize Seatlan | Reize is not lost this time. Then again, he is not intending to go anywhere specific. Just away from Baron. hat enough was good enough for him. His path would lead him to a place where he does not have to worry about being near that kingdom. Insted, he is being led towards the small villge. However, given the distance, he is quite a ways from the village. Probably at some distance from Annalise, who may be dealing with difficulties. Reize himself blinks, "Buh? Was that someone?" He boy calls out, "Oooiiii!" |
| Annalise | The figure instantly snaps her eyes up at the voice calling towards her, shoulders tensing. If the fool was any louder he just might draw attention to him instead, but it was too much of a risk. The cloaked person pushes harder into an all out sprint straight towards Reize, stitch at her side, "Get down!" she hisses hard at him. "Get down! Get down!" There was enough heavy weeds here that it the cloaked girl could only hope that it would give them some protection. And if Reize doesn't get down on his own, she's going to //make// him get down. When she does get within arm's reach the cloaked figure shifts her weight hard to slide, reaching out to sweep at the boy's legs to make him fall. |
| Reize Seatlan | ? Reize looks confused when a voice calls out for the boy to get down. ! However, the confusion quickly turns into surprise the moment he sees someone charging at hm. This cloaked figure is sprinting pretty fast trying to get to him. As the woman charges ahead, she springs forward to knock him off of his feet. "ACK!" The young adventurer hits the ground prett hard, rolling along before he collapses on his back. "Ennggghh... Wh---what...?" He is definitely confused. |
| Annalise | Sliding on the ground with her feat behind her, the cloaked person kneels on her stomach facing towards the forest where she had just come from, peering through the weeds as Rezie falls beside her. At least he was down now. Her alert eyes flick at the edge of the forest, shoulders tense and breathing as she tries to make out something, anything that could be there. Anything that could still be chasing after her. "The thing could still be out there." Her hands curl into fists against the ground as she turns her hooded head, the mask obscuring half of her face as a pair of bright crystal blue eyes look towards Reize for the first time. "If it's out there, you need to stay //down//." Not to mention the horde of guards that were chasing after her, but between them and the monster, what are the odds that it would be them that finds her instead? |
| Reize Seatlan | Groan. Not the best point. Nevertheless, when he looks at the cloaked person, Reize leans up and snaps, "What's the big idea, you jerk?!" He twitches, already angry! Steam comes out of his head as he chastizes the figure. However, when she explains about a thing being out there. "...Uhh... a thing?" He sighs, then he shakes his head. "Mada mada..." He stands up, "I have somewhere that I need to be! Besides, I don't think anything will come out now!" |
| Annalise | Probably the first time she's ever been called that, but she isn't surprised. She had knocked him down after all. Even if it was for his protection. "A towering monster..." A huge, //huge// monster actually. Reize stands to his feet beside her and the cloaked girl blinks her bright eyes at him. Maybe he was stupid. "But what if it's still out there?!" Point made, she didn't know if it had actually followed here to... wherever part of the kingdom she's at now, but she didn't know for certain if it hadn't either. A long moment passes, then another, and nothing happens. The girl is hesitant for a longer moment still before she peeks her head up above the weeds, almost giving her the appearance of a prairie dog. Nothing, not even so much as a ominous thump in the distance or a twig breaking. Had she managed to escape her perusers? |
| Reize Seatlan | Grumble. Reize is rubbing his head looking up towards the cloaked figure. He offers her that annoyed glare, but he quickly recovers. "If it's still out there, then I'll deal with it!" He puffs his cheeks in annoyance, "My friends are waiting on me." Reize is thinking recalling what would happen if he shows up late for going off on his own. 0Flashback Chibi Shiki: If you don't show up, Mr. Mew will deal with you. Mr. Mew: *looms over Reize* 0+_0+ Chibi Reize: AAAAACCCCKKKKK!! Q_Q Chibi Lily: If you don't show up, I will smack you! Chibi Reize: Wh-what?! Chibi Priel: I taught her well~! Chibi Reize: PRIEL! >:( Chibi Ivo: Ahh, you may not want to disappoint the ladies. Or your friends. All of the other clans will be waiting for the leader of the Shard Seekers to attend. Chibi Clan Re+_0+ Chibi Reize: You guys are harsh. T_T 0Flashback End Once Reize is back in reality, he keeps his gaze at the woman, then he states, "Right now, my friends will do worse things to me!" He withdraws his boomerangs, "So the monster is the least of my problem!" And Reize is moving towards the north. |
| Annalise | Yeah that... is incredibly stupid. Brave, but stupid. And Annalise couldn't help but tense visibly when Reize boldly stands to his feet and starts walking northwards, her blue eyes snapping towards the boomerang weapons he pulls out in preparation of some unknown enemy. The cloaked girl makes a face to herself, but she quickly stands to her feet and hurries to his side, not to be outdone. And the bow in her hands had appeared out of no where. "Tell me. What part of Castria are we in now? I don't recognize these woods. And some evil mage lit up the sky with daylight with magic." No doubt to find her. |
| Reize Seatlan | Pause. "Castria?" The boy turns his head over to face the woman. He blinks a couple of times, then he starts to frown. "..Umm..." He shuts his eyes, then he lowers his head while his focus shifts towards her. He tries to give her a friendly smile this time, but he shaks his head. "...This isn't your world, I fear..." The cloaked figure is observed carefully, "You're around the Dias Plains. I'm actually on my way to a village up ahead. But..." He isn't certain how to say that her world was devoured. ...Even if that is the case. |
| Annalise | Anna tightens the grip on her bow as she stares hard at the treeline, waiting for something unseen to pop out from existence, or a rampage of men on horseback... but nothing comes. Only silence. Her frown beneath her mask deepens and she turns her head just enough to glance at Reize out of the corner of her sapphire blue eye, watching him for a short moment before blankly blinking with uttermost confusion. Not her world? How is that possible? Could he be lying? Straightening quickly, Anna snaps her gaze around them to get a quick look of the terrain, at the hills or anything else beyond only to find nothing was familiar. She knew every inch of Castria... "Magic." she murmurs to herself. "That doorway of colors. I was sent through it and found myself here... but... behind me was darkness. There was shadows swallowing up everything and behind me a huge creature landed between--" Annalise catches herself. What now? "I..." The bow in her hands spackles gently before fading away to nothing, leaving her hands empty. "Why would I be sent here?" |
| Reize Seatlan | "...You've met the Heartless." Reize falls silent, shutting his eyes when he considers her situation. There is no easy way to say it. "...The Heartless has your world." He looks at the cloaked figure with a straight look. He has to tell her. She needs to know. "...Many of us that lost our worlds to the Heartless end up here." Both of his eyes fall shut, then he asks, "..Was the large creature black with yellow eyes as well..?" |
| Annalise | Heartless. The word itself seemed ominous. As if there was some deeper meaning that was linked to the mere association with the word, but she didn't know what it was. What it could mean. But it didn't sound good. Annalise turns a bit further to face Reize, the boy she had run into mere moments before to watch as his face, his entire demeanor fall. And when he admits that the Heartless devoured worlds including her own the pit of her stomach churned with something unpleasant, leaving a bile taste in her mouth. And there were others. Orphans of the Heartless. Anna swallows shallowly as she looks to her feet, staring through the ground itself at something unseen. "I... I think so. I'm not sure. Its back was towards me when it landed and I only had a split second before... I was pulled here." she admits quietly. It couldn't be by accident. Why would others be thrown here as well if not for a common purpose? |
| Reize Seatlan | The boy remains silent, letting the stranger take it all in. He shakes his head for a moment, and then he offers her a smile. It is a comforting smile. "...Hey, let's get out of here. I'll take you to a city that I am going to. There is a celebration going on and...." He winces, thinking back to the memories and the looming doom that would await him if he fails to. "...It's in my best interest NOT to miss it!" He is already moving onward, not giving her a chance to even say no, "Let's go!" |
| Annalise | Annalise continues to stare at the ground, as if there some sort of secret or hidden meaning there even though she knew there was none. There was nothing. And her existence... her kingdom, her father, it was all gone now. Somehow she hears his words through an echo and she lifts her bright sapphire blue eyes to meet his, her focus sharp as she tries to listen. The only person here that knew here wanted her to come with him. To a city and a celebration when she had no reason to celebrate. "Right..." Anna murmurs quietly. The hood hangs a bit deeper for a short moment longer before the cloaked girl follows a step or two after Reize, not arguing against the decision to take her with him. It felt like at the moment, it didn't matter anyways. |
