Negociation Failure.
(2013-02-24 - Now)
No description.
Zeke For one that claims to be completely aboveboard and legal Zeke seems to have a bad habit of going into shadey out of the way places. Case in point he was, as of a half hour ago, spotted going into a rather run down bar to try speaking things over with an eight foot monster of a troll, a willowy black skinned charicature of a thing that most definately wasn't human, and someone wanting to look very much like snidely whiplash (go figure.) Those that had spotted him would have said something about his foolishness since chances were pretty good he'd end up eaten or worse. However he had entered on the idea of negociating on behalf of one of his crew that these three 'fellows' were trying to pull back into old habits.

Five minutes ago there was screaming and the sound of furniture from inside this back room. Pistol fire rang out and there was inhuman bellowing.

Now... Now now now. Zeke was getting thrown through the front window of the bar by a very /VERY/ irritated troll. The Snidley Whiplash wannabe was walking with a pronounced limp and the definately not human black charicature thing was grinning too-wide with shark-like teeth as they advanced on the man who, for all intent and purposes was laying face down in the street in a bad part of town well enough away from the hustle and bustle that it wasn't likely cops, guard, or good samaritans were liable to just accidentilly wander through.

Which is why Zeke had left word with a few fellows where he would be in case things got bad.
Ariel Ariel hasn't yet explored this part of town much, but the way the sunlight is starting to crest over the horizon intrigues her. She's alone, walking through this part of town... and it is a bad part likely for a young girl to be in. But she seems kind of obvlivious to that fact at the moment. She isn't in the habit of carrying a weapon. But she can't turn away a friend in need of help, so... she rushes over toward the bar.
Nagetta Well, at least it wasn't too bright out yet. The sun getting in Nagetta's eyes wasn't much of an issue yet. Of course many people wouldn't mess with a girl who's half snake. At least she wouldn't stand out too much here. She cringes a bit upon hearing the gunshot and Zeke getting thrown out of the window. The lamia moves in closer to see what's going on, hopefully she hadn't just stepped into the middle of a fight.
Zeke Ariel would have seen the Troll lifting Zeke up by the back of his neck and lift him to a standing position, or rather it would have been standing if he and the Snidley fellow were the same size. As is Zeke's knees were bent and he was all limp-like. "So." Snide took Zeke's hat off and examined it. "You're the fellow that took my cyclopse from me."

Zeke laughed weakly. "Frank? Like I told you back there Frank made his own choices. I simply gave him the option t'be more than a legbreaker for the likes of you."

"Is that so." Snidely looked over to the Troll. "Mac. Bend Him."

Ominous words caused the greenskinned troll to hoist Zeke overhead and start. Well. Bending Him. Spines are flexible one way. He was being bent the opposite not so flexible way. It caused screaming, but not a lot of flailing.

"Yes. Yes scream all you like. We're too far out in the sticks for it to do any good." Strange. This was the Snidely and Troll show so far. What of the shadow man?"

Someone Observant, or possibly of keen smell would see a flash of a small knife from Zeke's sleeve into one of his hands, or possibly smell fresh iron and then a splash of blood as he haphazardly flung it at the Troll tormenting him. Trolls and Iron don't get along so well and the big guy dropped the poor unfortunate merchant as it bellowed and howled.

So yay. Zeke wasn't having chiaropracty forced upon him. Unfortunately he was stuck on the pavement flopping around trying to get some sense of what's broken and what isn't.
Ariel "Hey!" Ariel yells at the bellowing troll. So what he will see is a pretty-skinny redhead in a blue dress, standing with her legs apart, yelling at him. "Don't pick on hin - leave him alone!"

Standing defiantly, she seems to have no awareness that she bit off more than she could chew.
