Gathering the VALKYRI
(2012-12-12 - 2012-12-12)
No description.
Avira The warning has been sent out, though whether or not the missives would reach the other members of VALKYRI had yet to be seen. Avira hoped that they would so she could get this impending shock over with.

Traverse Town is pretty crowded, especially this section of town. What had been formerly abandoned buildings were now filled with refugees from Manhattan. Tents were set up in the streets and allys. The building that VALKRI had claimed as their own about a month ago seems to have been the only one that didn't really gain extra tenants.

Right outside, before the door to the place, stands an ominous-looking creature. Black furred and winged, there was something, nonetheless, familiar about this beast.

It could be because it holds the Spine, tip rested against the ground in front of its legs, clawed hands resting upon the pelvis-bone hilt.
Maira Maira had not received the missive, due to having just returned to Traverse Town. Previously, she was recovering in Mullonde with Faruja after having been brought there post-battle for Manhattan. She's not been conscious when the city fell, but she'd known it was happening. Perhaps it was the stress of that as much as her injuries the lead her to swoon.

There's two worlds now, her own....and Avira's, both lost to darkness. Twice now, she had failed. Maira knew she'd done her best. She'd given it her all. It just wasn't good enough.

Heart-sore, Maira returns to Traverse Town, heading straight for VALKYRI headquarters. She stops about twenty feet away when she spots the winged beast that stands guard at the entrance. Maira freezes, alarmed for only an instant. It doesn't take her long to recognize Avira. It isn't just by sight Maira knows her. She knows Avira, the space she occupies in the world. Her aura, as it were.

Maira's hand lifts to her mouth, tears forming in her eyes. Without further hesitation, she runs forward and LEAPS at Avira, hugging her fiercely. "Avira! You are okay! Fuzzier, but okay!"
Katyna It's been a while since Katyna has visited the people of VALKYRI. Obviously, Manhattan attack had kept her busy, and then her meeting with the Shadow Lord Seith, one who might just take over as her new mentor..If things went well. But she had yet to learn more about the true power of 'Darkness'..And it's consequences.

Right now however, she is still tired. 'Ember' had suffered many wounds while trying to guard the portal, and she realizes she needs some down time to recuperate before seeking out Riku.

It's nice to be back in Traverse town again however, although she didn't expect to see so many people! For a moment, she frowns softly as she sees all their sad and dejected faces. So many homeless people, so many orphans..It reminds her of herself after the 50 year war..After she was orphanned, after all her losses.

But no, she wouldn't go there again. These people were weak. If they were stronger, they would have defeated the heartless. But now..So caught up is she in her thoughts that Katyna nearly misses the little house that VALKYRI has taken up residence in. And then she spots the strange mutate and she narrows her eyes, pulling out her sword..Before recalling the description that Avira had given of herself.

"Avira..? Is that you? For real?" She steps closer, peering into her eyes, searching for something familiar. How..Very strange. Familiar, yet different.
Minerva Minerva had managed to find the missive, thanks to being part of the guard team at the portal? She'd made it through rather than being cast adrift. However it had also had her having to knock out a certain rat man paladin and drag him through. Faruja had been most stubborn about it, thankfully she'd managed to get him through but now having rested somewhat. She's come to see just what has happene what had Avira so worked up. She knew something bad had happened, but prehaps she was not prepared though she was still wearing a new top, I <3 Manhattan on it. Long story there but otherwise she's dressed as she normally is though her clothing looking the worse for wear after everything was said and done.

There was a beast there, it clearly wasn't mindless from how it was carrying itself also the fact it had a strange weapon. Wait that's Avira's the monk cautiously approaches without saying a thing, just trying to figure out what's going on here. She does not like where this seems to be going.
Avira Avira's been waiting for quite a while, people watching for the most part as she's been here. Those that do spot her pass by quickly, looking away in fear, and with each one that does, the huntress feels a twist of pain in her gut.

A familiar face finally appears-Maira being the first, and immediately she tenses. She turns to look at her directly in the eye from afar, remaining unmoving, studying the young mage...anxiously awaiting a reaction.

Much to Avira's shock, Maira runs to her and throws herself upon her. The human-turned-mutate staggers backwards a few steps but otherwise remains upright, easily able to stand with the added weight. The Spine falls from her hands and clatters to the ground. Slowly, she lifts her arms and wraps them around Maira, hugging her back.

"Yeah..." she murmurs, "Yeah, I guess I am okay." Looking up from Maira, she then spots the approach of Katyna.

Her eyes are familiar enough. The brown pupils are the same and seem to be the only human part left of her. Of course, the rest of her eyes are yellow instead of white. "Yeah, Katyna. This is really me."

Minerva might be comforted by the fact that Maira is hugging the beast...and the beast certainly isn't attacking. "I was hit with something quite nasty during the ordeal at Manhattan."
Katyna Kat bites her lip, coming a little nearer, seeming more curious than sympathetic. Afterall, she doesn't really know Avira that well yet, certainly not enough to run up and hug her. she smirks a little when she sees Maira do just that. "Hey, Maira, Minerva! So that gang's all here, huh? But Avira.."

She frowns, moving towards her, picking up the spine as it clatters to the ground and examining it for a moment before handing it back to her. "How'd this happen, exactly? Who did this to you?"

Hit with something..Nasty? How awful..Kat frowns, staring down at the spine for a moment in silent thought. She'd hate to be transformed into such a hideous monster herself. But at the same time, Katyna is curious to see what Avira is capable of now. Certainly she must have grown in strength..
Minerva Minerva had found Maria has some good sense for who is huggable and who isn't the monk relases and she stares though. "What foul magics has done this to you Avria?!" She doesn't look happy, thinking back to tales of a monster on her world that can infest and twist people into more of it's self. It's thankfully rare and tends to be experimated when the local military or noblity became aware of it. She just takea a look over her now altered friend and smiles "It is a a mircale your mind surived the ordeal."
Maira It isn't that she doesn't care that this happened to Avira, but Maira simply doesn't believe it is the most important thing. The most important thing is that Avira is alive and whole. Changed, but whole. This whole....thing? Certainly they can fix it!

Maira squeezes her friend tightly, then lets go, dropping back to her feet due to height difference. Maira looks up, her eyes wide and round. "You're a lot taller!" Really Maira? That's the first thing you remark? "BY HOLY, YOU HAVE WINGS! Eeee!" she says, examining them with a great deal of interest.

Whatever Avira was expecting, reaction wise, it probably wasn't this.

"Oh...oh oh can you fly now? Have you tried yet?"

Behind her, Uist clears his throat. Maira looks toward him, her mouth forming a small 'o' of understanding. She looks back to Avira, taking her hands. "Okay. Oookay...so, something hit you, you were transformed. Okay. We can fix it. I'm sure we can. We'll make it our primary mission objective....but right now...just..." Maira squeezes her hands again, looking down. She's remembering now (as if she could forget) that Avira has lost her world. "I'm...I'm so sorry. I fought as hard as I could..." she says, her voice quiet.

With the arrival of Katyna and Minerva, Maira smiles, a little teary, and waves to them. "Hey..."
Avira Avira makes a face...which actually looks kind of scary with her wolfish anatomy. Almost like she's about to bite someone. Her voice is gruff as she speaks. "I was mutated by a geneticist named Dr. Anton Sevarius. This man from Manhattan had been studying Heartless supplied by the Shadow Lords that destroyed that world."

Her eyes narrow dangerously. "He had taken up residence in the Labyrinth and was working with that one guy, Fang, who we fought, Maira." Her 'smile' fades a little as Minerva mentions that she's lucky her mind survived intact. "...that's not all I'm glad survived."

Maira seems unnaturally cheerful about this whole thing, commenting on her height...and wings. In fact, Avira hadn't really noticed how much taller she had gotten until Maira clung to her. "Uh...maybe? I haven't really...tried to yet."

Something catches her eyes and Avira looks beyond Maira, squinting. She...swore she just saw something there. When Maira takes her hands, she looks back down at the fire mage friend.

Her ears droop. "So did I. I fought to the end, Maira...we all did." Despair. There was no way to save her world from the Heartless. Maybe...maybe if Will Sherman hadn't been there.

Avira lifts a hand to ruffle Maira's hair. "Yeah ...and weneed to find Angantyr. I think he did did something stupid in order to get a cure out of LEXUS."
Katyna As usual, Kat finds Maira's reactions a bit odd. But then, when was Maira not odd? She smirks a little at that thought, and shrugs. "Wow, wings? Really? That's pretty awesome!" She steps ever nearer now, peering at her wings, and moving to examine the other one. "Wow, Avira, not too shabby. I mean.."

No, that's not what she's supposed to say. Kat laughs nervously, shaking her head. "I mean, I'm sure we'll find a way to turn you back..If that's REALLY what you want, but. I dunno. I'll bet you're a whole lot stronger now..And you can fly too!"

Aah, yes, Valencia would have a field day with her.."Hmm, y'know, I'm sure Valencia could figure something out. She's a sorceress AND a scientist right..? An' she's already proven how capable she is, as a sorceress at least. If it's magic or science, I'm sure she can fix it. But..I wonder where she is?" Did she survive Manhattan..?

Then Maira mulls over the defeat of Manhattan, and Kat...Feels nothing really. She should feel glad, victorious perhaps, or sad maybe. But really, she feels nothing. They were weak. If they were stronger, if fate deemed they were worthy, they would have survived, but as it is...Survival of the Fittest..

"If you did your best, that's all that matters, y'know? So dont worry too much!" she offers Maira cheerfully.

And then that bastard Vespar's name is mentionned and Kat frowns a bit. So, he's a friend of Avira's is he? Good thing he only met her in her alter ego. "Hmm? You say he might have a cure? What..Did he do, exactly?"
Maira Maira nods a little, swallowing a sob. Her mind is full of those what if questions that never take you anywhere.

"Maybe...maybe we can get it back. There has to be a way to get worlds back that have been lost to the Heartless. There just has to be," she replies, her voice resolute, as if she could will such a thing to be just by believing it.

Thinking, Maira runs the name of the scientist through her head. Remembering it. "I'll find him. If he's alive, I'll find him...and I'll make him cure you," she tells Avira. She means it. This is a girl who single-handedly snuck into Baron to try to rescue Avira, she's totally crazy enough to do this.

At mention of Angantyr, Maira winces. "Oh no...I hope he's alright...I guess we'd better find him first then."

The mage looks around the town then, noting all the tents and refugees. Her shoulders square. "All these people....some of them are probably still injured..." Anyone who knows her well can reason she's puzzling out how to best help them.
Minerva Minerva listens to the tale and shaker her head a little bit. She's making notes palns are rolling about the monk's head which may or may not invlve pressure points that if she doesn't counter them. Anton's head could very well explode, but that would destroy any chance to help her friend. "Maria given the sort of thing that would do this to a person he may very well give us posion. It may be wiser to aquire his resarch and bring it to someone far less prone depraivty than her." She looks back to Katyna whom she's not got to meet.

"Lexus the damon that works with the shadow lords correct? He attempted to devour a young boy named Luso who aided me in fighting the heartless during the seige. That thing, ... needs to be purged one way or another. I may need to speak to Ser Faruja..."
Avira Avira shifts her wings, stretching them out to her sides. Unfolded fully, they are huge. Unlike a gargoyle's, they are the feathered wings of a bird. Plumage would suggest crow or raven. "Uhhh..." she's not all that sure what to say about wing compliments. To her, they were unnatural.

"It is what I want. I want to be human again. It's important...I've read Sevarius's research. I have it with me because I managed to copy it...I strongly suspect that if this condition is not removed, I will devolve into a common Heartless. Unless the darkness..." she trails off, hesitant to say more on that subject. She could adapt to the darkness, accept it, but then she'd be corrupted. Avira didn't want that.

"Maybe Valencia could do something with it. His notes are above my ability in genetics. Unfortunately, I have not seen her since Manhattan." A worried look is on Avira's face, not because an avenue for a cure is cut off, but because Valencia is clearly lost. She should have checked in by now.

A small growl escapes her. 'did your best, that's all that matters' doesn't really comfort Avira very much right now. Her world was gone.

"I hope we can find a way to bring it back." Avira murmurs to Maira, but she definitely does not sound so chipper as the fire mage. No, she sounds downright depressed.

Speaking of downright depressed. "Angantyr offered to 'take my place' in exchange for a cure from LEXUS and cut off contact with me. I suspect he might have been mutated too...LEXUS and Sevarius were working together, according to the Doctor's notes."

Avira seems /really damn worried/ about the Dark Knight. "We need to find him as soon as possible. With his inner darkness, he might regress even faster into a Heartless."

Avira's wings twitch and continue to stretch at odd angles. She might be practicing moving them. "Well if I recall correctly, Maira, you did have some talent in alchemy, right? I'm sure these people could use some potion."

A pause, "...have you seen Faruja yet, Minerva? Has he survived?"
Maira Maira nods to Avira's question. "Mmhmm. I can make potions, so long as I have the coin to buy supplies...but I have some healing magic, and that doesn't cost me anything to use," she replies. A lie. It costs her a great deal, just not money. Only her energy.

Maira is only chipper because she is trying to force herself to be. She doesn't want to let Avira down, so she is trying to stay positive, hoping that it will rub off. Hope is a powerful thing.

She stays close by Avira's side, taking her arm, looking up at her. "That won't happen to you Avira. You won't be a Heartless. There is darkness, yes...but your light is stronger. You have to have hope. I won't let that happen...to you, or to Angantyr. We'll find him. His light is buried deeper, but it IS there. He fought to protect people in Manhattan...and he obviously cares a lot about you. That will see him through," she says, giving Avira her warmest smile.

Later, she'd fall apart. Later.

"Faruja? I've seen him! He survived, yes..." she informs Avira, not mentioning her part in that. "He was fighting with us. Protected me."

Uist, meanwhile, is watching Avira with an expression of what Maira can only assume is empathy. And anger. Always anger. Not for Avira, but for what was done to her.

To Katyna, Maira blinks, remembering something. "You know your way around the worlds a lot, don't you Katyna? Could you help us find Angantyr?" she asks. Of course, she is referring to that time they met in that dark place between worlds, where she had stumbled while apparently sleep-walking. Interdimensional sleep-walking. Let it not be said Maira does anything half-assed.
Katyna Katyna arches a brow at Minerva when she mentions LEXUS. ah yes, she knows that one. He stopped her from defeating Vespar..But why? Ugh, it just doesn't make any sense. Again it must have had to do with that girl, Leida. But..She'd better focus on the here and now.

"I suppose..Whatever was in that mutagen COULD cause you to devolve further, unless you're strong enough to face the darkness. Wasn't Vespar a dark knight or something? He is used to handling the darkness, so I'm sure he'd be okay..Maybe? But it's okay, we just need to find LEXUS to find the cure then." She shrugs.

"....Hmmm..So, LEXUS has a cure, and Vespar made a deal, selling his soul to the devil for it?" Katyna frowns, "Guess he must really care for you, to make such a sacrifice.." And clearly she cares enough to want to save him. "Well, if you wanna save him, I guess you'll have to figure out where he went first. Find LEXUS, and you'll find your friend for sure! Heck, maybe you could even chase down a heartless and track it down to their lair or something." another shrug.

Of course, she knows exactly where to find LEXUS herself, but..Would she do it, for them? Do they matter that much to her, these people she barely knows? And furthermore, what would she get in exchange for it, other than death at the hands of the heartless? No..She doesn't want to face death again, never again! Kat shivers for some reason, rubbing her arms as she wraps her cloak around herself. Was it that cold out here?

"So...I guess we have to find Valencia, LEXUS and Vespar, right? I'm sure someone around here knows where they are." She smiles, "I have my own sources to check too, so I can look into some stuff as well.." A mysterious smile is given, although she doesnt' elaborate.

"Heey, dont worry, I'm sure it'll all work out. Y'know, maybe Manhattan isn't completely lost. Even if it's overrun by Heartless, maybe it's still there. Afterall, there are other worlds that have just a shard of them left. As long as there's just a sliver of a world left, it wont die. Y'just need to find the ray of light in the darkness.." Ooh, but she's saying too much now, and she's glad for a change in topic.

"Heey, y'know, we could always distribute potions to the refugees and ask around while we're at it..With all the people in Traverse Now, I'm sure some of them have seen your friends - and with our help, I'm sure they'd be willing to return the favor!"

She grins at Maira, "No worries about munny! I got plenty of munny, y'know, fighting heartless all the time. Find the right heartless and they give ya lots of munny!"

She pauses then, when Maira asks her about the worlds. "Yeah..I guess so. I mean, I've learned to travel through portals, and to find them without being lost. I guess..This sword that my mentor gave me acts as a kind of guiding beacon..Sir Kasrillen, he was a noble paladin, a holy paladin of Church Glabados, said my sword would always protect me.." It was a half-truth, at least.
Minerva Minerva says "...then we're going to need to get those tomes to someone who can make use of them to help you." She nods for a moment "Then we should make haste I will not see a friend lose hr mind and soul. To think man could tamper with things that are rightly the domain of the gods is worrysome. Still we should focus on helping you. As for the city we held as long as we could in Central park. I was one of the last ones out, we have to keep hope if Manhattan can be restored then...prehaps my home could be restored as well. Yes, he surived because I knocked him out and dragged him through the portal just before it closed. He was ready to charge into the face of the devil hismelf."
Avira Avira lifts an eyeridge at Maira. She can use magic too and is quite aware of the 'cost' of a spell, having had to learn her way through ice magic, one exhausting day at a time. For a beginner, magic really took it out on the body, especially those not blessed with youth.

Maira takes her arm and Avira peers down at her. "Thank you..." she says quietly, "...hearing all that is very reassuring. It...it feels really good to hear you beliving in my light." She would redden a little...but it's impossible to see. In fact, it's pretty much impossible to tell when Avira is embarassed now.

A sigh of relief is much more obvious. "So Faruja is still here. Good. I think we will need him." She's not really noticing it, but the closest wing of hers seems to curl around Maira.

"Sounds like it." Avira says to Katyna, regarding Angantyr, "He didn't elaborate much before he cut off contact with me." The mutate lowers her head, the equivalent of a frown at the corners of her mouth. "Y..yeah, he really does..." Which is why she had to find him again. "He's got a lot of darkness in him...so he's easy to sense for people that can." Even Avira's noticed she can feel it now. In fact, she was noticing a lot of things now.

For example, she looks exactly where Uist is again, squinting.

'Maybe Manhattan isn't completely lost.' "Overrun by Heartless seems to be in a bad place to be. But that light that faded..." Avira trails off again, not wanting to talk about it anymore. The very thought of what she had witnessed at the world's heart just made her depressed all over again. The light had died. There was nothing left.

Avira finally stoops down to pick up the dropped Spine. Very carefully, she returns it to its sheath, which still sits at the small of her back, now above her long tail. "Asking around seems like a good place to start...but before we go..."

She looks serious, "I want to...add this directive to VALKYRI business...that wherever we go, we will oppose the schemes of the Shadow Lords. So we will never see a world get destroyed like that again." she pauses, "Do any of you have any oppositions to this?"
Maira Maira tilts her head toward Katyna. Something...is starting to seem sort of odd about her, but Maira can't quite put her finger on what. "I guess I must be fighting all the wrong Heartless...ingredients get expensive, though a simple healing wouldn't be too difficult," she surmises.

"Uist can help look for Angantyr too, though he can't be away from me for too long," she tells Avira, hoping that would give her more hope.

When Avira looks straight at Uist, the spirit furrows his brow, obviously wondering just how Avira knew where to look. Perhaps her transformation has heightened her senses for....the other-wordly. He remembers, it was the same for him. Then, his brow furrows further. The same? When? When was it the same? The memory is gone as quickly as it came.

Maira glances to Uist, concerned by his expression. He informs her they will talk about it later. Maira nods, then looks back to Avira.

That additional directive falls right in line with Maira's heart. She straightens, standing taller, prouder. "None! That's my intention!" she replies boldly. She notices the wing curling around her with a little smile.
Minerva Minerva says "I'll go find him he's helping to keep the peace the last I was aware of. I'll go find him shortly and make him aware of the situation." She nods for a moment. Any thoughts of vengance honestly quelled by concern for Avira whose well in this situation. "I would do so even if you didn't want to do it." She looks over the maira than to minerva "I should open my kegs to those who need it I think at the very least th surivors could use a stiff drink."
Katyna Katyna smiles at Maira. "Yeah, that's the spirit! Let's not give up til the end, alright?" She nods to Minerva as well. "I'm sure Valencia can make something out of those notes, she seems quite knowledgable in magic." Well there's Maira too but..She seems a bit out of it. Still, if she has some magical aptitude. "Hey Maira, did you try taking a look at those notes? What abot Uist? He's probably like, hundreds of years old. Maybe he knows something.." Well, it's a long shot but..

Avira's aversion to talking about Manhattan is noted with a slow nod, and Kat is careful to steer clear of that topic for now. "Alright then, let's focus on helping people! It'll make us all feel good and we might learn something useful! In the meantime, Avira, what's the last place you remember seeing Vespar? I gotta map on me, I should be able to find the portals and steer us to the nearest one..Then, I'm sure you could sense him if he's nearby, right, Avira?"

Kat makes a note of this to herself. Fortunately, in this form, her sword emits only minimal dark magic. With her ineptitude with properly wielding it as Ember, Kat's mostly hidden unless she becomes Ember and even then, her dark magic's not nearly as potent as the other Shadow Lords. With a soft sigh, she realizes Seith was right. No wonder she's just an apprentice. She doesn't really know that much about true darkness..

A soft shrug as she tries to clear her head. "Oh, I'm glad that Faru's alright. I haven't seen him in a while. I'll bet he's at the Traverse Church or something, doing what he can for people. Such a nice guy.." Finally a chuckle to Minerva. "Heh, get 'em drunk to erase their pain, huh.?"
Katyna She gives pause then, when Avira openly declares shadow lords their enemy. So, they're no longer neutral huh? Guess she'll have to be extra careful now. Katyna nods slowly, "Of course, I have no oppositions. But we'll have to be careful, some of them are quite deadly."
Avira Strange that Katyna was always so well-munnied. Avira did pull in some cash from Heartless, but not nearly as much for her own tastes. At least they had someone around with a good amount of cash for emergencies?

"Is that where he is, Maira?" Avira asks, out of the blue, referring to Uist's location, "I swear I just saw something there. In the air." Maybe she can see. Or it could be some other sense of hers functioning.

"The last place I saw Angantyr was here in Traverse Town. Then he went somewhere to talk to LEXUS. With their interest in finding Angantyr, Valencia, and LEXUS agreed upon, Avira's much more willing to move on to the most important VALKYRI business. It was actually the reason she'd called them here...new appearance aside.

She was hoping to see that commitment. Today, it actually shows.

"Deadly indeed. Unfortunately for them, the lot of us are both deadly and clever." Avira smiles a little.
Maira Maira looks to Katyna, nodding a little. "I could have a look...but I know about magic, not science. If...well. I might know of another place we could go for help. I really, REALLY hesitate to do so but...maybe...ShinRa..." she says, obviously troubled. But she is willing to put aside her misgivings about ShinRa if it meant help Avira. There are brilliant minds there. "Its another option...but I wouldn't want it to be out first choice."

As for Uist, he looks toward Katyna now, frowning deeply.

"Uist said he could look, something might stir knowledge in him, but...well, he doesn't think so. We're pretty sure Uist was a warrior in life, and...he doesn't really remember much from then," Maira relays.

Startled then by Avira's words, she looks to her, blinking. "....?" Then she looks to Uist. Something obviously passes between them before she looks back to Uist. "He says you are sensing him...your senses have been heightened by the transformation," she replies, sounding strangely puzzled. She too, is wondering just how Uist knows this.
Katyna Katyna nods, although that 'clever' part inwardly has her on edge. Fortunately, she's pretty good at covering up, most of the time. "Yeah, I've seen y'all fight. You're pretty wicked in battle. Give 'em Shard Seekers a run for their money, eh?" She smiles, "But as you may not know, I'm something of a mercenary too, so yeah..It pays alright, and I've got some connections. At any rate, I need to find Faruja, I think he might have found something belonging to me. In the meantime, I'll look around and ask questions."
Minerva Minerva was up in the air on money herself but sha got enough. "Hum he is a sell sword isn't he? Either way we should find out what his price is. I doubt we could keep him on permate retainer." She frowns for a moment thinking about it a little bit more. "I would be wary of merchant princes." She notes to Maira "We may have no other choice however depending, it should be our last restort as you suggest I agree. At this point rivalies are only going to hinder us. I also need to seek him out as well. However if you find him first please inform him Avria is looking for him."
Avira "Then it's settled." Avira says quietly, "Enough majority. I trust that the other members will not have a problem with this initiative. If not..." Well, they could leave. Avira seemed quite determined about these thoughts.

She starts to walk away from their building, eager to get to the idea of helping those around them and looking for a lead or two about where to find Angantyr or Valencia. "That's Uist then...?" Avira asks, looking at that 'blank' spot one more. "Hmmmm."

She has nothing to say about the Shard Seekers right now. When Avira really thought about it, the real rivalry she had was with...Ivo. The rest were okay.
