No description.
Peter Pan A strange whistle sounded, the beginnings of a tune on a flute, but there wasn't a clear source. Wherever it was coming from, it had altitude, but not so much that it had become quiet. It seemed to be on the move, though, first atop one buildng, then another, and then seeming to settle at the clocktower... For the moment.
CHIEF
The place has a ton of users. Users everywhere from as far as the eye can see! Its a place CHIEF rather just blow up, do a happy dance, and waltz away from. However, sometimes it is better to study your targets; observe; and gather data on them, so that when you /do/ attack, you wont be caught off guard.

However, sometimes also being caught off guard is extremely fun too!

So walking down one of the allies is a man with red-brown hair pulled back into a pony tail. Red lens shades hiding his gold eyes. His black leather duster hides his body suit and those odd green lines that glow gently on it, along with the very disk on his backside. It also conceals his pulse rifle that is slung to his hip.

Though the lines become far more obvious at his legs, but are hidden once more by the black biker like steel toed boots.

He does indeed hear the whistling, which causes him to gaze skyward, but for the most part. The man continues to walk.
Deelel Deelel had had a long day a bad day, a world of users had been destroyed. She'd helped to save a lot of people but it wasn't enough the world was gone her home was gone. If it not be ironically for the Shinra? Her world would be gone and she's just wandering about the town without much direction and she pauses at the strange whistle. The media program wonders just where that came from...
Lumeria Lumeria's making her way through Traverse Town when she hears an odd flute sound out of nowhere. That makes her stop for a moment making her wonder where it comes from. It seems to be changing direction as she walks. Was someone trying to get her attention?
Peter Pan A shadow moves along a wall near the group, drawing their attention for a moment, and the source of the music crosses above their heads, stopping upon another wall nearby. The music continues, the flute noise accompanied by a little tinkling of bells, drawing those following it close to a darkened alleyway.
CHIEF
CHIEF hears the sounds, he may notice the shadow and only ponder over it for a time. However, he only takes out his cigar and lights it. Taking a few puffs from it, before huffing out some of the smoke, and flicking the ash off to the side. "...music in the wind. How comical." He muses softly to himself.

As he continues to walk, he takes notice of someone in the distance. Another user perhaps. His eyes focus on them for a moment. Giving them a quick study. They had pointy ears, white hair; very odd looking user. It actually causes him to stare longer then he attended, before reaching up for his cigar and putting it out just using the side of a building. "..Curious." Is all he has to say for the moment.

Bells, whistles, and now a strange looking user; what was next? A Bit circus?
Deelel Deelel is keeping hee eyes open and the sight of Chief makes her suprised to say the least but he's not well causing trouble yet. For all she knows he's just damaged and needs a system restortation. He's not viral so she's not got to the need to Derezz on sight like with Lexus or MCP. She however is noticing the other people about and Peter Pan's music is getting her attention, she is curious now following the sound of the music.
Lumeria Now she hears bells? From overhead? Was there a flying bard around here somewhere. She then notices someone looking at her, the music didn't seem to be coming from him though. He was dressed rather odd though, at least by Lumeria's standards. Of course Gaia wasn't exactly at the highest level in terms of technology either.
Peter Pan The music began to change... intentionally. It became faster, urgent, a bit bouncier. It wasn't jovial, but instead was building in tension, as though warning the listeners that something big was going to happen very, very soon. The shadow moved again, though this time the music remained in place, just overhead coming from the roof of a nearby building.
Deelel Deelel humms seems to find itr interesting a she looks about, she' very easily able to follow it looking up she wonders if she can find a way up to reah the source. "humm just whom is this?" She's curious now and it's got her mind off the guilt of what happened the last night.
CHIEF
CHIEF studies her for a bit longer, until the bells play with more tension. His eyes quickly drawn to such a sound. "..Oh get off it." He grumbles, before he at last heads for the sound with un-human like speed. Pushing straight off the ground, grabbing onto a ledge of part of the building, then pushing himself over to another building, before flipping himself up onto a roof.

Yeah, CHIEF was now officially trying to find out what was making all this racket and being someone who was use to combat, such moves were always ever so useful.
Lumeria Lumeria moves closer to below the building the music is coming from. She's not going to try and climb it or anything though. She's not that athletic and if it's that important it can always come down to her level. Instead she looks upward trying to locate the source of the noise.
Peter Pan When CHIEF leapt up to the roof and looked to the source of the noise... He was greeted by a long, humanoid shadow cast upon the roof, waving at him. Following its legs down to a pair of feet, he'd see the boy in green, holding pan pipes up to his mouth in a way that didn't /quite/ match the shadow's motions. The pipes were pulled away, and he laughed. "WOw, you should see the look on your face."
CHIEF
CHIEF stares at the boy he locates. There was indeed the look of: 'you got to be kidding me', to then a slowly dead-pan stare. Yep. Users not only came in all types of 'ages', but apparently they pulled some very illogical things.

This one perhaps was the most illogical of all!

"I am glad to know that you find my face humorous." He says with a dead-pan stare still, before he then actually smiles. "Though I do find your abilities very common to that of a harmless prank software." He crosses his arms over his chest. "Do tell me, young sprite, why are you playing such sounds to get the common man's ear? You never /know/ what you could bring up to such a roof or even around you."

Those gold eyes then peer over the lens of his shades. "Dangerous things after all lurk around ever corner." That smile only gets wider for a moment. "Very dangerous things indeed."
Deelel Deelel is now finds a way up and scrambles her way up with a fair bit of inhuman agility a she gets up a bit after Chief for a mment. She looks over at the other program and looks at Chief for a moment stating at him then at Peter. She looks back to Chief. "Greeting program." She notes to Peter and then she looks at Chief for a moment "So your here again, you seem far more socialable than last time."
Lumeria Lumeria really needs to learn Float or Warp she thinks as she begins to climb the building as well. She's not sure how these other people do it so easily. Sprite? Was the person playing the music, some kind of fairy?" She watches the conversation above with interest.
Peter Pan Peter Pan grins widely at the CHIEF. "Wanted to see what would happen," he replied, and then without giving the CHIEF a moment to respond, "So what's this about dangerous things around here? Wild beasts? Pirates? Is it pirates?" He sticks his pipes into his belt and draws his sword, slashing at the air. "You're not a pirate, are you? You've got hair like a pirate." His free hand rubbed his own chin to emphasize what he meant.
CHIEF
"That depends on what you mean by 'sociable'. How is that user of yours doing? I still need to scrap him when I find him later. You be wise to not be around when I do." CHIEF remarks back to Deele. It could be easily be seen it is probably a threat or CHIEF just talking big.

However Peter Pan speaks up somewhere when he was talking to Deele, which causes CHIEF to slowly look back at the boy. Those gold eyes once more hidden by those red tinted shades. "Pirate?" He asks back with an almost bark of a laugh. "Hardly. I am a military grade program, which makes me /far/ more dangerous then a con-stealing-theft-taker." CHIEF explains with a simple wisp of his hand.

"But I must confess, sometimes you /do/ have to get dirty like a pirate in order to get what you want in this user infested world." Thinking back on attempting to steal that tank. "..that was such a beautiful tank too.."

He suddenly turns to face Deele, that murderous smile on his face. "Wasn't it!?" Then he hrmpgs, the smile fading with an almost pout look then. "..but you and that filthy flame-blasting user ruined it."

CHIEF has yet to notice the other 'user' coming up with her pointy ears. He swears things only keep getting weirder the more he hangs around this place.
Deelel Deelel says "Heartless, pirates there was some pirate helping the heartless in New York." She had no idea it was Captain Hook however. "Pirates thoguh are the least of our worries." She looks at at the boy trying to figure out just what his deal is. Chief on the other hand she's got a much better idea for a moment. "Help File update, the world's just gone and every system on it too. I don't want to think how many basics went up with Manhattan." She looks back to Peter "Greetings just what are you...?"
Lumeria Lumeria can't believe what's she seeing putting her hand to her forehead. "Are you an idiot? You can't just draw your sword at people because you think they're pirates?" The boy wouldn't last long around here if he kept this up. "Program?" She's not familiar with that term at all. This would be a chance to learn more.
Peter Pan Peter Pan put his sword away as quickly as he'd drawn it. "Well I can't just not have my sword drawn around people who might be pirates," he pointed out. "Who's who?" There was a tinkling of little bells beneath his hat. "Oh! Me? I am youth! I am joy!" He leapt up into the air and struck a heroic pose, fists on his hips. "I am a little bird that has broken out of the egg! I am Peter Pan!" and then he threw back his head and crowed, a loud cockadoodledoo escaping from his throat... Which ended with him asking, "And you must be 'Program!' Who're the girls?"
CHIEF
"Oh I know it is." CHIEF said very, very calmly. Which was creepy from him. "I am /very/ aware of it really." Though he dare not go into further detail. After all, he witnessed it and got a 'free card' out of there due to his-- minor alliance work. It was only more reason he stacked points against killing every user in the end.

CHIEF then looked at the 'elf'. Her reflection in those red lens of his. "Program, user. Program is what I am. Just as you are a user." There was that toothy smile for a moment. "Something, I honestly can not--- stand--- much of." His fingers flex a little bit. "I was created by you users for a purpose-- really-- many purposes over time. Lets just say, being.. altered.. I guess would be your word for it.. really starts to become a very painful.. mentally impacting.. experience."

Then when Peter Pan introduced himself, CHIEF could only raise an eye brow. "...and I thought I was mad.." he muttered softly, before he only could grin. "..and Program is not my name, sprite. Its Chief. I would explain what my name means, but it would far go over your avian-haired head."
Deelel Deelel looks over at Peter again, "Drawing a weapon randomly around here will get assumed your hostile. Youth?" She seems confgused she comse from a world where all beings come into being as adults able to get to work with in micro cycles of their creation. "I'm Deelel"
Lumeria "A man-made being created by others. Some type of homunculus?" That's what it sounded like Lumeria. Though him referring to her as a user still didn't make sense to her. "Yes, most people don't care for being altered physically or mentally." She can understand what he means by that. "My name is Lumeria."
Peter Pan "You just said a whole lot of things that don't make sense," Peter said. He tilted his head to the side and his whole body followed, becoming roughly horizontal in the air as he looked quizzically at CHIEF. "And I know what Chief means! It means big red guy with feathers who goes," and then, his mouth formed an O and he let loose a long note, and his hand came up to pat hismouth over and over to change the intensity of the pitch. He turned to look at Deelel, and then said, "Yeah, youth. That's what I said!"
CHIEF
CHIEF stares at Peter a bit longer before he just shakes his head. He'll just make a mental note when it comes time to take that user out, to make it swift and quick; or he may just cause him to go crazy with his odd behavior.

CHIEF slowly shakes his head. "Well either way, I should be getting back. I do have some /things/ to look into." He then steps away before raising up his hand. "Later bytes!" Before he hops down to one ledge, kicks off another and makes his way back down to ground level.

Tonight people got lucky. CHIEF was not in a 'kill' mood. Next time though, this could be another subject all together.
Lumeria She would have to look more artifical beings now, just in case they might pose a threat in the future. "Well, yes you're young, but what do you mean by you're youth?" Lumeria figures there must be more to it then that. Even if he's an undeducated, she might still be able learn something from him. Information often came from an unlikely source after all.
Peter Pan "What do you mean what do I mean?" he asked, looking at her far more accusatory than he had any reason to... And then he grinned again. "Well, I realized that growing up is awfuller than all the awful things that ever were... So I decided not to do it."
Lumeria "Immortality? You just decided to become immortal? That's quite unlikely." Lumeria can't believe she's hearing this. He could possibly be of a long-lived race such as herself, but forever? "And how long have you been alive for?" She figures it couldn't hurt to ask.
Peter Pan Peter Pan began to count on his fingers, then shrugged, not actually knowing how to count. "I dunno. Always. Forever." He held his hand up and moved it slowly in an arc, "Many mooons."
Lumeria "There has to be more to it then that, or anyone could do it!" Lumeria sounds a bit frustrated by this. All of the research, she's done and he simply managed to find a way. "Maybe, it has something to do with where you're from?" That was always a possibility.
Peter Pan "More to it than what?" Peter asks. "More to not growing up?" He looks her over, slowly. "You look almost grown up. Are you panicking, is that it? Trying to stop it before you get old?"
Lumeria "I've spent years trying to find a way to slow down the aging of others, so I won't outlive them...and now you're telling me immortality is that simple?" Lumeria sounds quite annoyed. Of course there's no evidence to prove what he's saying either, but having it shoved in her face like this.
Peter Pan "Sure," Peter shrugs at that, not recognizng her annoyance at all. As far as he's concerned, living forever is the simplest thing in the world.
Lumeria Lumeria takes a deep breath trying to calm herself down, maybe she was thinking about this too much. "Alright, where are you from then?" It would be good place to start looking into this more. Maybe someone could explain what was going on here better than he could.
Peter Pan Peter Pan leaned in and looked at her eyes with all seriousness, thinking this over for a moment. "Would you believe me if I told you?" he asked, as though it actually mattered on some cosmic level.
Lumeria "Well, it can't be harder to believe than you've managed to stumble acrossed immortality." Lumeria figures, just about anything would sound reasonable after that.
Peter Pan Peter Pan just kept his level gaze on her. That wasn't really an answer, as far as he was concerned. He focused intently on her eyes, trying to read her as best he could.
Lumeria "Let me guess, it's one of those places that doesn't exist unless you believe it does." Lumeria figures that must be the case. It isn't any harder to believe than anything else he's told her.
Peter Pan Peter Pan tilted his head at that, his whole body following until he had gone a full circle and was wholly upright. "...What? Girls say the weirdes things."
Lumeria "How many girls do you know?" Lumeria's curious about that now. "Well, why else would you ask me if I believe? Afraid I'm going to laugh or something?" There has to be some reason that he did.
Peter Pan "Enough to know they talk to much and say weird things," he replied, now just looking at her quizzically. He'd asked her a simple question and she'd gone off in multiple directions.
Lumeria "I was just curious to how it worked. If immortality can be powered by belief, than existance shouldn't be too much of a reach." Lumeria figures there has to be some logic in this. "Are you going to try and take me there?" She can't help but to wonder.
Peter Pan "I dunno... You're kind of /old./ Do you know any good stories?" he asked. This seemed to be as important a question as the one about belief.
Lumeria "I'm not that old!" Lumeria defends herself. Well, she isn't, at least not by her race's standard. "You know this is starting to give me a headache. Maybe this needs some time to sink in. I mean it's hard to change what you think, in just one conversation." Especially when you age like Lumeria. "That and it sounds like I've lived a lot different life than you have."
Peter Pan "Probably," Peter said. "Girls learn all sorts of different things. Like how to cook and clean and make pockets and tell stories. And you probably can't even fly."
Lumeria "Please, I have servants to cook and clean. I have more important things to do with my time. I've been researching float spells, they're clearly within my grasp. I just need more time to work out the details." Lumeria figures she'll get the hang of them eventually. "I'm assuming you need to be able to fly to get where you're from?" She's heard of lands that float in the sky before.
Peter Pan "Well, that's the easy way. Some people go by boat. But those are mostly pirates, and I kill them when I get the chance," he explained.
Lumeria Lumeria has a stunned look on her face as he says that. "You kill them..." She's been guessing that he hasn't been taught morality either. She's certainly no paragon, but even she has limits.
Peter Pan "But whenever I take anyone, we fly," he explained. "So we don't have to worry about the pirate boats."
Lumeria "I see, I should get some rest. This has ben quite informative, hopefully we can speak again sometime?" Lumeria figures there might be something to be gained here after all.
