Aerith Stay away from Manhattan.

Kaydin's words echoed in her mind even as she searched for the heavily armored man known as Judge Magister Zargabaath to inform him that something bad was about to go down in the big apple. He'd wanted her away from the fighting for reasons she could easily understand, but not agree with. Protecting her was one thing, but keeping her from doing the right thing was another matter entirely. She had to do something to mitigate the untold potential of damage Baron's fleet would do. She figured Xanatos would appreciate some extra support, though it wouldn't necessarily come from her. Not directly.

If Kaydin, intelligent as he was, figured her out... well they'd cross that bridge when it came up. In the meantime, she had to make sure at least someone rational and with good judgment would offer their aid when the time came.
Zargabaath There are judges in place all over the merchant square, especially after the attack there a couple of weeks ago during a charity event. Many guards are in place as well, most of them watchful. Apparently their commander had been a little upset that a Shadow Lord made it past their defenses. However, The Judge Magister was nowhere to be seen......yet.
Rinoa Heartilly Rinoa didn't know the specifics on this little meeting with a Judge, however she was curious and concerned. Another attack on Manhattan? Again?! Was the heartless behind this one too? She bites her lip, following after Aerith and just bursting with questions. However it seems they will need to meet this judge before her questions can be answered. Angelo pads anxiously at her side, seeming increasingly anxious ever since seeing Seifer last.

"So! Where exactly are we meeting this judge again?" She pauses, peering around intently, not entirely sure what she's looking for..
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart has been following along, since Aerith wanted some extra people. Friends of course, protecting, but also simple support when it comes to discussion. Although the Judge they know is not the worse kind, others around might not be as amiable. She doesn't know what's going on with Manhattan either, but lately there has been lots of problems it seems. Between the weapon stuff, and the cyberbiotics... She's not sure what to think anymore, and somce of those are linked to Xanatos too.
Aerith She can sense Rinoa's confusion and Tifa's uncertainty. In fact, she has some of her own doubts since the battle in Manhattan's underground the night before, and she was loathe to leave due to the new mutated breeds of Heartless roaming around. Yet Kaydin's warning forced her to take action, and now here they were...

In a place that was wrongly stripped away from its people, with an intimidating Judge on roundabout every corner. Finding him however would not be hard for the half-Cetra, because she had something extra.

"There's no real arrangement, we're just here to find him, sit him down, and have a talk about Baron's assault." She shook her head. "It's coming, soon. No idea when, but it's coming, and they'll need help."
Zargabaath A Familiar sight would be sitting over top of Rabanastre, at least, familiar to Aerith.

The airship Alexander.

However, as Aerith walks through the marketplace, one of the Judges walks his way forward and steps in front of Aerith. "Lady Aerith." The Armor would be familiar to Aerith, as one of the Alexander's bridge crew. "If it's not too much to ask, how come you're in Rabanastre? The Chruch's retinue for the benefit left days ago."
Rinoa Heartilly Rinoa arches a brow at Aerith, noting for the first time all the judges who are standing guard in this city. "Wow, I dunno what it is about Manhattan..It just seems to attract all sorts of trouble. Alright, maybe we should approach one of those guards. Maybe one of them knows where Zarg can be found!"

At that moment, a judge approaches them first and she's about to talk when it seems they already know her. "Ooh..We're here to see Judge Zargabaath. Is he here? We need to talk to him about something important.."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart turns over to the approaching Judge, nodding. She looks to Rinoa "I think its just the amount of people. If you consider there's 5% of people that would be bad guys, that means in proportion they would have alot more. And then bad guys will target where there's lots of people too, so it attracts even more by rebound."
Aerith Aerith lets Rinoa speak. It said more than enough for the three of them. She looked up at the Alexander, remembering the first time she'd arrived on the airship. It was a sight to behold, even after the second time. As much as she wanted to take a better tour of the place though, Rinoa was right. They had business to tend to.
Zargabaath The Judge stands there and listens for a moment before stating quietly. "It is Judge Magister Zargabaath. PLease remember that." Said in a gentle voice before he stands up straighter for a moment. "He's on his way, Lady Aerith."

If they look up a few moments later, they can see an airship flying away from the Alexander and landing at the outskirts of Rabanastre. Moments later, Zargabaath is there to meet Tifa, Rinoa and Aerith. "Greetings, ladies. I was told you needed to speak with me? There some reason?"
Aerith Aerith lifted a hand to stop the others from speaking. Her turn now. "I'm afraid I have some disturbing news..." She glanced around at those milling about. "Can we go somewhere there aren't so many ears? This isn't exactly public material." If it reached the wrong ears, something bad would follow.
Rinoa Heartilly Ahh, all these formalities! Crazy! Still, Rinoa just nods and bows to the judges, hopefully that's good enough! "Sorry, my apologies! Judge Magister Zargabaath.." And then a few moments later he is there. Rinoa smiles to him. "Your honor! Nice to meet you again.." Still, she lapses into silence, knowing this is Aerith's show, and just waits for her to take the lead.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart takes a look around meanwhile, just making sure they aren't attracting too much attention either. At least until they get to private. She hmms, nodding "Its probably for the best too.
Zargabaath "It's a pleasure to meet you again Lady Rinoa. Miss Lockhart." Zargabaath says bowing to each of them in turn. However, when Aerith requests for privacy, Zargabaath's head turns towards his left, into the marketplace. "You do have a point, Lady Aerith. I imagine the Alexander is as good a place as any." He says before looking towards the Judge that initially met up with them. "You come with us as well." He says before turning back towards the dropship, which hadn't left yet. All of them are brought in and they take off.

The Alexander looms in front of them a few minutes later, definitely an imposing sight for those not familiar with it. They land in a short landing pad in the back of the large ship, where soldiers and Judges salute Zargabaath on his way out, and they're escorted to a meeting room near the bridge. The ship is huge, definitely having a lot of men, as well as a LOT of firepower for a vessel of it's size. The meeting room, is a decently sized room that can be entered through two doors, and has a retractable table and holographic display for strategy. However, it's meant for relaxation at the moment. "See to it that we're not disturbed, Judge Summers." "Yes sir." And he closes the doors behind him. That very act, lets Zargabaath turn towards Aerith. "How important is it, Aerith?"
Aerith Aerith wasted no time in taking a seat and clearing her throat. "It's important enough that thousands of lives ride on it." She gave him her most direct, serious gaze. No time for beating around the bush. "Baron's on the warpath. Soon. I suspect within days." She grimaced. "They're bringing an army of Heartless with them and they intend to raze Manhattan to the ground."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart crosses her arms as she listens to Aerith. She hadn't heard all of the details, but she's not surprised either. Baron has been up to no good recently. "We saw it with Balamb too, there's something unholy about the way they do things. Its not just simple conquest, there's something more in there.
Zargabaath Zargabaath took a deep breath and crossed his arms. He seemed to think about it for a few seconds before coming to an internal decision. "How many airships did they deploy on Balamb? Do you know their force composition at all?" He looked to Rinoa, who hasn't said a word since their arrival, but then looks back to Tifa and Aerith, listening.
Aerith Aerith made her best attempt to think about how many airships there were... "Five. More than enough to level the Garden. They deployed mostly Heartless, but from what I hear there were other factors to consider. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought out Rubicante again..." She shuddered. "They have some sort of creatures with them called Elemental Fiends, powerful beings with control over the force of nature they represent. Other than that, they have two branches of elite forces, the Dark Knights and the Dragoons." She looked up for a moment at the Magister. "I don't know what Dragoons can do, but if one of my friends is any indication, I'd assume they're capable of mid-air combat while wearing moderately heavy armor. I have extensive knowledge on the Dark Knights, though..." That was because she knew one.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart looks around for a place to rest, leaning against the near wall with her back to it, nodding "It was quite the force, pretty excessive. They seem to have made allies of some other nations too, or maybe just using them for their wants. I heard they attacked Balamb only because they had helped against them before, as hired mercenaries. But we heard news that they had been active on towns that have crystals too.
Rinoa Heartilly Rinoa hmms. "You're right, it seems they wont stop until they destroy Manhattan and anyone else who gets in their way." she sighs, "But they have allies of course. Baron is allied with the heartless of course, but there was also an Alexandrian airship force helping them out as well, from what I remember. I wonder if Alexandria will aid them against Manhattan as well?"

She nods to Aerith, "I guess their main army is made up of powerful dark knights, such as our friend Kaydin. Perhaps we should capture him and interrogate him further?" She blinks, "Oh yes. They were also after what Kaydin called a 'Princess of Heart.' back in Balamb. That reminds me.." She glances thoughtfully at Aerith, wondering if they might chase after her too..
Zargabaath Listening to the information being given, Zargabaath made a bit of a funny face behind his helmet. It sounded like they have more airships in one squadron than Baron had in their entire fleet. However, he gets a beep at a console. "Judge Summers? I thought I said I didn't want to be disturbed?" "I know sir, but it seems a Templar Faruja Senra is requesting your audience as well." "Huh. I seem to be popular today. Bring him up and show him to the meeting room. Same orders after he gets in." "Yes Sir." He then clicks the comm off and turns back towards the women in the room. "It wouldn't be because of that dark knight named kaydin, would it?" He says to Aerith before Rinoa confirms it. But then Rinoa mentions a 'Princess of Heart', and that grabs his attention. "Interesting. Would they happen to have holy powers that even white mages could dream of?"
Aerith Aerith blinks for a moment. "I'm not sure about all of them... but at least one of them does. Why, do you know something about them?" Because he sounded like he did, or at least she got the feeling from him that he knew what was going on. "Because if you do, I'd be very interested to learn."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart doesn't know about the princess of heart, but Aerith is a pure heart from what she can tell at least. She hmms, "Well they have been interested in Aerith more than me or Rinoa, but I'm not sure what's entitles them to being a 'princess' either.
Faruja Senra Ever polite, Faruja is certain to knock on the door before entering the meeting room. His pace to the room is unhurried, both as a way to further study an Archadian airship as well as make a show of not moving at anyone's pace aside from the Church's. The guards at the door get a salute, and with their permission, he enters.

"Good eve', Your Honor. I do apologize for the sudden visit, however I..." Pause. Oh my, he's interrupting. Coughing politely, he bows to the Ladies in attendance, and steps back a pace or two. The four get a smile, and a silent crossing of his chest.
Zargabaath As the door closes behind Faruja, Zargabaath bows to Faruja. "Good day, Templar. What is the purpose of your visit? You're not interrupting, but I imagine you're there for the same thing these three are." However, his attention is drawn back towards Tifa and Aerith. "I haven't met one directly. Even if I did, I wouldn't tell anyone who she was, for her own protection. But I did run across one in the rabanastre marketplace, during Faruja's charity event. The only reason I know is......I felt a holy power make me stronger than I ever was before. This was not a healing power, but a purifying power, one that added power to my technique, and literally made it explode with holy power, and literally had to make that shadow lord escape through another portal......broken. This was nothing a white mage could have dreamed of. I also wouldn't know this Princess if I saw her again. ALl I saw was a woman dressed in rags." The last two comments, if anyone can read emotions.......he's lying.
Aerith And if anyone knew about emotions... it was Aerith.

But she smiled at him, sweet, uncaring for his fib. "So one was here, then. And I suspect this is the same power I felt at Garden. But there's one thing you're forgetting..." She leaned forward, the smile still present. "If someone with such a distinct power was here, you'd remember. The fact that she wore rags is a detail, an easily forgettable one." She shook her head. "It's not nice to twist the truth about something so important..."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart waves to Faruja, they met learier with the antlion, so its not a stranger at least "Nice to see that you healed back from being antlion food, mousie." She says playfully. "I guess you can feel princess of hearts just being close to them then?
Faruja Senra Luckily, Faruja has had enough contact with the person in question to almost instantly pick up on the thread of the conversation. His smile never wavers, tail perfectly swaying, but those such as Aerith may notice a slight sensation of being on guard. A gem weighs heavily in his robes.

An ear perks as Tifa speaks, and everything is confirmed. Finally, the Burmecian nods to the Judge Magister. "Well then, I shan't hold my tongue if the dear ladies should hear such an uncultured voice as mine." Blink. He shivers, suddenly, the memory of a certain ant beastie hitting him.

"...Eight hours, M'Lady. It took eight hours to scrub the scent out."

On to more pleasant topics, the rat nods. "And you three as well. Your injuries were worrisome. But all seems in order from a glance." He adds, after gazing upon the three women with a healer's attention to injuries.

A muzzle turns, and he gazes at Zarg. "...Something to that effect. I had meant to speak with you about a certain city. Namely, Manhattan. However..."

Voice rising a bit, the women again have his attention. "Care to fill me in on the topic of conversation? The term 'Princess of Heart' is one I am /very/ interested in." One fuzzy brow rises, expectantly.
Rinoa Heartilly Rinoa listens quietly, nodding and smiling warmly to Faruja when he joins them. "Hello again, Faruja! I didn't realize you had a meeting with the Judge Magister as well." She smiles, "He must be a very popular person these days.."

And it seems he's here for the same reason they all are. "Oh, yeah, we were just trying to figure out what the heartless have planned for Manhattan this time. It seems they have an ongoing Vendetta against that city. Hey! Maybe there's a 'princess of heart' there too?" She shrugs.

"Hmm, well I dont know much about them, except apparently there was one at Garden at one point, which was possibly why Garden was attacked. And..."

Again, Rinoa is hesitant to say what she knows about Aerith. "Hmm, there might be another one. I dont know for Sure. So far Faruja, it seems like these princesses are full of some sort of purifying energy. Like they can defeat heartless more easily than others, and empower those around them. I guess they're probably harder to corrupt as well..."

Again, many of those aspects fit Aerith quite closely as well..
Zargabaath Smiling underneath his helmet, Zargabaath tilts his head. "She either has a remarkable ability to hide it, or I just simply ignoreed it because I was a little bit distracted. With a Shadow Lord summoning Heartless upon people out of nowhere tends to draw someone's attention." he then chuckles. "However, I would still have to keep from identifying her, for there are people who would wish to capture her, more than likely for Baron, I'd bet." He then turns to Faruja. "Actually, they came to me for the very same thing. Were you there for the Garden attack as well, Faruja? or any other attacks that Baron attempted?" However, his helmet loks to RInoa. "Purifying energy, hmm? That explains why I've been feeling more like a young man, than a man in his forties lately." He then looks at his gauntleted hand. "There was something.....more about that woman too. I can't put my finger on it though. It's.....a feeling of defending something that's more than yourself......something that you can actually reach out and touch."
Aerith The smile from Faruja does not fool her, though it is genuine enough. Something was going on behind it. He was suddenly wary at something someone had said... about a crystal. She kept her thoughts to herself for the moment, though. Rinoa's guesses at the nature of the Princesses of Heart was a bit more interesting, but that's all they were until she knew more. Just guesses. She turned her attention toward Zarg again, though her eyes hadn't strayed from the man.

At this, she nodded. "Then I'll just have to find her myself. She can't be too difficult to locate." Aerith cleared her throat. "Back to the topic at hand... Baron brought five airships, plus the contingent from Alexandria. But that's not to assume they don't have more... and won't bring more of them."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart nods as well "I don't think that was all of their fleet either. We don't know how many Alexandria have under their control either. We don't know the nature of their alliance for that matter, it doesn't seem like they are participating in every Baron assaults.
Rinoa Heartilly Rinoa nods again and sighs tiredly. "Well..I have no concrete facts yet. Just..Observations, and educated guesses. But! Y'know, I'll bet Garden might have some answers about this. I wonder if that princess is still there? But now that her presence there is known, maybe not?"

She frowns, pondering something, seeming rather..Impatient about something, "I..Really have to visit Garden soon, but..It seems they're still pretty busy. It's been difficult, trying to arrange an appointment lately. There are other threats as well, besides the heartless.."

But right now, she doesn't know enough about what the sorceress has planned to really bring that up yet. Besides, they have enough on their plate as it is.

Finally, Rinoa looks at the others and nods. "Yeah. Who knows who else might be allied with the heartless? I guess..We really have to do some more information gathering. Again Garden seems a good place to start, since they do jobs all over the world. They must know something. I just wish..." I wish Squall was here, she thinks. He'd know what to do for sure!

But for all she knows, he could be dead by now..
Faruja Senra Ahh, so the Judge Magister knows of her? It seems a certain Princess is the elephant in the room. "As a Holy Knight, in my opinion, such radiance as you speak of would be more than obvious to anyone with the slightest /hint/ of sense. 'Twould be as a beacon...and more than likely, to both Darkness and Light."

He pauses, attention zeroed in on the Ladies...and of them, particularly Aerith. She's the most suspicious of them, after all. No one gets kidnapped twice by Heartless without a reason, and it sets the Heretic bells off in Faruja's head.

"Mayhap you Ladies would be willing to educate me further on the subject, at some point? You all seem very knowledgable, for something so swathed in mystery." He'll let the unstated question of how they know all this hang in the air.

"Ahh, then we are indeed on the same subject. It had been my intention to beseech your support in culling the Heartless in Manhattan, as well as bringing the Witches who dare summon such foul abominations to righteous judgement."

Alexandria. Simply dropping the name has the ratling snarling, tail lashing behind him.

"No, I did not have the good fortune of testing my blade against those vile butchers, and their Baronian allies." Someone's priorities may seem slightly reversed.

A pause. "While the Church has no current standing on conflicts of nations..." The rat's muzzle purses, shifting smoothly from anger to politics.

"We simply cannot allow the good people of Manhattan be swallowed by the Darkness. Should the Baronians or Alexandrians during any such patrol to rid the city of its unholy interlopers be shown to ally with, make use of, or cavort with any such creatures or threaten the innocent..."

The Burmecian shrugs. "A witch is a witch."

Faruja laughs bitterly as Tifa ponders the nature of their alliance. "M'Lady Lockhart, they are Alexandrians. Every pore of their bodies drips with concentrated greed. They know no decency, or morality in fulfilling their mad Queen's lust for territory and power. /That/ is the 'nature of their alliance'. Chocobos of a feather, as you humans say."
Faruja Senra Finally, the rat shifts his attention back to Zargabaath. "However, given the size of the city and amount of Heartless, no single force would be sufficient in protect its citizenry. To put it bluntly, every spare soldier from any nation of Faith and pure intent is needed. And to think of the consequences of the city falling...so many souls lost to the Darkness, and a gigantic fortress of a stronghold for the abominations. It simply cannot be allowed."
Aerith The sheer loathing comes off of Faruja in waves, and Aerith raises her right hand to interject. "I don't know what they did do you or who this Church is." She didn't care. "But you have a good heart. So I'm going to give you advice... Devotion is fine, but take care not to let it become fanaticism. After all, being overzealous is the same as if you'd sided with that which you fight."
Zargabaath "More than likely, if you're coming to me now, it means they're going to attack soon. I should get the 12th Fleet underway. It would do for Ghis to get off his short butt and actually do something." Zargabaath chuckles at that, but listens to Tifa's information. "Anyone that had any knowledge of strategy wouldn't use their entire force to take attack anywhere else. Having no defensive forces opens your home country to attacks." Listening to Rinoa on Balamb Garden made him make a face again. He didn't like how closely connected she was with the garden. "Sounds like you're connected with the Garden for some reason."

However, his attention goes towards Faruja, and chuckles. "You have no idea how ironic that comment about Alexandria is, Faruja. The Archadian Empire had been absorbing and conquering territories for the past few years, and now, you're speaking to a Judge Magister /OF/ the Archadian Empire for a possible Alliance to help Manhattan against Baron. This was why I was gathering information about Baron, I saw this coming."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart shakes her head "I don't know, I wouldn't think everyone to be like that anyway, maybe they are just following orders, the same way Kaydin is." She lifts her shoudlers "Its hard to know what's the truth behind everything going on. But that doesn't mean we have to accept their actions either. I haven't seen Alexandria acting on their own mind you. Only while under Baron's alliance.
Faruja Senra The Judge Magister's comment has Faruja smiling. "Precisely why you were approached in this matter, Your Honor. Who better to counter the efforts of those who seek to consume land than one who is well versed in the very same?" A pause. "What say you? We've quarry." The last bit, though he looks at the Judge Magister, seems directed roomwards.

The Templar's eye narrows at Aerith, sharp gauntleted toe-claws scratching at the floor. His gaze is cool and seeking for several long moments before he finally responds. His voice is that of someone on the verge of lashing out, mixed with old sorrows brought to the surface. One hand grips his bandaged arm as he speaks. "And in turn, dear Lady Gainsborough, I must caution you against undue mercy and compassion for those who employ demons. Your intent is pure. But we are in times of great strife as none before us have known, where the entire multitude of worlds are laid seige upon by an enemy none fully comprehend. In these times, Faith and devotion to Holy Faram is all that seperates us from falling off the path of truth. The Lord shields our souls against evil, and bids those of us who have strength of body and mind to turn these weapons against those who spread evil."

"'Following orders'. Hmph."
Aerith Aerith smiled. "Spoken like someone who really believes it." She nodded. "I like you, and I don't want to see you turn into something you're not. So just remember... Justice without compassion or mercy is nothing but vengeance."

She turned back toward Zargabaath. "I won't assume you'll put your weight behind the defense of Manhattan like everyone else here. You've got your own problems with the Heartless, I see that. But consider this... staving off Baron won't just save a lot of people... but they'll come to you for aid when you need it." She leaned forward. "And I have a feeling you need it... bad."
Zargabaath "I must caution you, Templar, against judging an entire people for a few acts. Once again, I cite the Archadian Empire as one of them. if you based an entire people upon the acts of a few, you could be hating a few of the wrong people. You've seen what I've done, but Judge Magister Drace is much like I am. Honorable, just, and slow to act unless the facts are overwhelming." He then shrugs. "If you don't mind me saying so, Faruja, but your devotion is worthy of respect. However, Do not speak to Aerith with disrespect. If it wasn't for her in one instance, I would not be here myself, nor would a few of my acting Judges in the 12th fleet. I owe her my life." He then turns to Aerith. "This isn't a favor for a favor, Aerith. I do this because the Heartless are a plague that needs to be exterminated. The only problem is, I only command the 12th fleet. If I need support, I'll need to ask the other Judge Magister's for help.....and they haven't left Archadia.....and ironically, Ghis is the one commanding the largest airship in the entire Archadian Military.....The Leviathan."
Aerith Aerith nodded. "The 12th is all we'll need." She smiled. "If the others aren't with you, you'll have to act on your own. It's like I said to Kaydin... doing the right thing isn't popular and it isn't easy. Sometimes you'll have to do it on your own, too. But in the end... and I'm sure you know this... it's worth it, every time."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart slides a hand around her ear, pushing back some stray strands of the brown hair "I agree with Aerith, better to follow your own path if you don't believe in the one the others are trying to push you into. You can always come back to it later once they follow the path again.
Faruja Senra As Aerith continues to speak, Faruja looks away. "...Your advice, M'Lady, shall be considered." It's as noncommital as one can get, but she's definitely touched a sore spot with the Burmecian.

Turning to Zarg, the Burmecian bows. "Nothing of the sort, of course. Merely advising her on spiritual matters, Your Honor." When in doubt, find refuge in the fact you're nominally both Priest and Knight. An often useful combination.

Frown. "I assure you, my wrath is not reserved for Alexandria's citizenry."

Zarg's proclaimation, however, has the rat crossing his chest. "Well put, Your Honor. They are naught but a disease to be cut out."
Zargabaath Nodding his head, Zargabaath takes a deep breath. "I want something clear on this.....all of you." His helmeted head turns to each of them in turn. "What was discussed here, does not leave this room. Understood? Not until after Baron's attack on New York. I want no word leaking to baron, or any other agents, to tip them off." He then looks to Aerith and Tifa. "Especially Kaydin. As far as he's concerned, you weren't here." he then looks to Faruja. "You as well. Not a word. They could have agents anywhere." He then sighs. "In the meantime, I'll put the fleet into place, and hide them."
Aerith Aerith stood and made a bow. "Trust me... things are going to go on as usual. In fact, you won't even see me during the battle." She smiled. "Kaydin seeing me there is going to make him very, very unhappy, and I do believe he warned me to stay away. Besides, I'd rather he come to the conclusion that what he's doing is wrong all on his own." She turned toward Tifa. "You though, you can help. Better than I can. I just need to get Maira out of the city before this goes down."
Rinoa Heartilly Rinoa listens to all of this silently, although half her thoughts are a mile away. She perks up when Faruja mentions a 'Witch is a witch' no matter how you look at it, and she gives an ironic, yet somewhat sad smile, before lapsing into thoughtful silence again. It is only when Aerith mentions Kaydin that she frowns softly, regarding her with concern. "Hmm, you have something planned, dont' you?" She yawns, but nods to Zarg. "Dont worry, my lips are sealed! Thank you once again for your help! I'll do my best to help out too.."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart nods to Aerith as she moves toward her "Of course, I'll do what I can." She smiles "We still have some business in there, no matter what I'd rather not watch things happen with my arms crossed." There are people involved after all.
Aerith Aerith nodded. "Rinoa," she said as she turned toward her, "I'd like you to come back to the city with us. Something's gone wrong over there recently, and I think you're just the person the city needs. Besides, it'll be no fun solving this without you!"
Faruja Senra Faruja turns to Aerith, concern in his eyes. "...Protect her. She is remarkably innocent. A rare thing, in these dark days."

To Zarg, the ratling smiles. "Agreed. Even loyal gums flap at times. Only those in direct need shall learn." A bow to the group at large.

"Your Honor, esteemed Ladies, I bid you good day. I have preparations to make. May the Lord guide you all." With that, the Burmecian is off!
Rinoa Heartilly Rinoa snaps out of her strange trance, glancing back at Aerith aagain. "Hmm? Of course I'll be there!" She smiles, "You know, I'm always happy to help make a difference. Besides." She smiles and winks, "We're your 'protectors' now." She just smiles knowingly at Faruja, "You're right, she is certainly something unique.." When the meeting is finished, she leaves with the others, already psyched up to return to Manhattan!
Zargabaath Zargabaath waves to all of them as they leave.....and taking different airships to different destinations. In the end, the Alexander begins to move from Rabanastre, and towards a larger portal, along with the rest of the 12th fleet.

To Manhattan.
