No description.
Valencia Valencia is once more in manhattan, standing on a rooftop away from most other eyes as she practices sorcery. She's currently collected a few pieces of rusty scrap metal, and seems to be throwing starlight at them as they float off the ground and twist into various shapes. "Come on... Got to get this one right..." She says as the scrap metal whirls about and coalesces into a sword, before rattling, then popping back into its original form. "Oh, come on!" she says, "This isn't working." she says with a sigh.
Cheshire Cat
"You shouldn't be rushing this." The voice of Felix appears behind Valencia, and it turns out he's sitting on a slight elevation of the same rooftop. He's almost certainly been watching for a while, with how relaxed he seems to be. "Only a madman does the same thing twice and expects different results." He pauses, seemingly pondering, though the grin doens't disappear, "Then again, I wouldn't do that either."

"Maybe you should just try again. Maybe there is method." He seems not to care much about it all, though, just rattling off generic advice that could apply to anything, until. "You almost got it there, just focus. Don't wish to get it right, get it right." It's strangely lucid and coherent, for the Cat. "Can I have some more tea?"
Valencia Turning around, Valencia nods and says, "Of course. I'll be sure to add sugar this time." as she withdraws a teacup, water bottle and teabags, placing them on the ground as she sits down and fills the cup, then places the teabag in and heats it with a little bit of starlight. She then withdraws a pot of sugar from her jacket and says, "One spoonful or two? And thank you for your advice... You're certainly mysterious if... Appropriately knowledgeable for your cryptic nature. After all, one is more often than not only hiding if they have something to hide be it in mysterious wording or simple shadows."
Cheshire Cat
"Why, thank you. Three and a half quarters of a teaspoon, please." It seems the remainder of those words might have amused Felix, but he doesn't mention it at all, and it's hard to figure out what he's really thinking. "Sorcery is a tough field, those who lack focus can't master it." He speaks as though it was some obvious truth.

"Then again, what do I know about sorcery?" He removes his right hand with a soft 'pop' and throws it towards Valencia, "Catch!" He instructs her, the hand itself cooperating with being caught. "I remember we hadn't properly shook hands. This is our second meeting now so we might as well take care of that." And indeed, if tried, the hand would grasp as though ready to shake. "Can you give it back when you're done?"
Valencia Catching the hand with a bit of surprise, Cathrine shakes it and says, "...I'd ask what you are, but I gather I wouldn't get much of an answer." as she places the sugar into the tea measuring it out -very- carefully before she gives the hand back to Felix. "Something that other boy saw seemed to... Interest him. So, have you known many sorcerers? You obviously have at least some second or third hand experience with them."
Cheshire Cat "I am me." That's his answer, not much of one, perhaps, but it's an answer. "Sorcery is a fascinating topic, has driven quite a few people to madness." He doesn't comment further, it seems like he dodges questions about himself, but what he said is true. With the hand given back, he puts it back on and uses it to sip his tea. "Oh, and please, ask Will to give you your teacup back."

Felix's grin never fades even as he says that, "Sorcery is a hard path to walk when you don't focus on it." He states, getting up from his seat and standing up, "Then again, this is true for magic and science as well. Or any other career. Trying to walk multiple is a sure route to madness."
Valencia "Are you?" Valencia says, "You might not be you, even if you say that, 'I am me'." she then drums her fingers on the roof as she says, "Well, a combination of sorcery, magic, and science has proven quite useful. At the same time, it's proven equally detrimental as progress in each individual area has been hampered for the sake of the whole."
Cheshire Cat
"Well, if I am not me, then I must be you." His body seems to fade, except for the purple stripes, which form an elaborate spiral with a gap where a body should be in between. His head is still there, "Or maybe a figment of your imagination. Have you considered that one?" The grin doesn't fade even as the spirals starts to disappear, going from one end to his head, there it stops.

"Think about that for a change, okay? Might help." And with that, the face starts to fade, until there's just a grin. The grin fade into the sky, and turns to match the crescent moon. Then, it appears to be gone. No more Felix, possibly there is food for thought.
