No description.
Faruja Senra Templar aren't ones to leave comrades behind. And with Deel missing, Faruja took it upon himself to investigate. His first stop? Manhatten's Arcade, a supposed hangout of the odd woman. Maybe she likes those machine-games so many 'modern' people seem to enjoy? It's as good a shot as any, and he's soon slipped into the Employee area. It didn't take much to slip past the civilian workers, humans that they are, and into the back. He gazes about, trying to not be too bewildered by the amenities of a modern city.
Faruja Senra And thus, the rat walks right in. A whistle escapes his muzzle, the Burmecian unslinging his spear from his back as he does so. "Could she have been assaulted? Heartless, perhaps?" he muses to himself aloud before setting foot within the door of the arcade. Red eyes gaze around suspiciously for any signs of life.
Faruja Senra Faruja doesn't relax, but does spy those footprints. Hmm! Spear-point forward, he follows them, no doubt destroying forensic evidence in his wake. Such a shame he's unfamiliar with such! Up the stairs he goes, claws relatively silent as he moves. The butt of his spear pushes open the door to the lounge, and a snout peers in.
Faruja Senra The rat glances about. Signs of life, at once time anyway. His fingers rub his chin, the butt of his spear hitting the ground as he ponders. "Where /ever/ could you have gone?" Faruja walks over to the odd device, then to the projection of a half-finished sculpture. "...Humans and their technology. What have we here?" Peeer.
Faruja Senra The object is utterly beyond the Burmecian. He reaches out, attempting to touch the projection, managing to half-blind himself from the light. "Fah!" he curses, rubbing his eye. He wisely chooses to stand /behind/ it. Should it be small enough, he'll attempt to pick it up and examine it further.
Faruja Senra A raised brow, and the Burmecian leaves the object. Somehow, he doubts he could get it powered in Fluorgis. Instead, he turns his attention to the rest of the room, giving it a once over before leaving the room. He'll begin to search the upper floor for signs of Deel.
Faruja Senra With a sniff and several steps, the rat is face to face with a game cabinate. A claw brushes against the front of the machine, the male frowning. The grooves catch his eye, and he bends down. He follows them, and where they lead. Could someone have moved the cabinet?
Faruja Senra Well, the rat has a spear. Leverage go! Putting his legs and weapon into it, he'll attempt to shift and move the thing along the path the grooves indicate!
Faruja Senra Frown. Darkness. Almost reflexively, holy energy flares through his weapon as he descends the stairs, briefly observing the cubes. "How odd...magic?" he ponders before heading on further in, using his spear like a lantern.
Faruja Senra Peer. Cough! The rat breathes in a bunch of dust, frowning in irritation. Then he gazes about. Tech, tech...and what's this? Noting the mount, he walks up, finding the end of the trail. He gazes, gripping the end of his weapon.
Faruja Senra For a long minute, the rat stares. How strange! Yet, his curiousity and a gut feeling has the Templar unmoving. After a moment...he reaches a hand forward to touch where the path leads, feeling slightly foolish as he does so.
Faruja Senra Nah, he didn't think so. Frown. The Burmecian shakes his head, before turning about with one last glance! Then, he's off. At least he has /some/ knowledge of what happened, now. He'll even pocket one of those cubes if he can.
