Angantyr Vespar Luca, a bustling metropolitian city, luckily, they are not DIRECTLY in Luca, but off the beaten path a little so that Maira and Ang can get some one on one time...someplace private.

As the Camera pans over a ridge, a bush holding various clothing.

Until it goves over the bush, to reveal Ang, shirtless standing in the ocean water, waiting on Maira to come join him so this terrible terrible lesson of swimming can begin.

Angantyr doesn't even get how someone can grow up without learning...it's just horrible.
Maira Well you know, growing up in the slumb of Midgar...there's no pool. Nor many (er, any) journeys to the seaside with all the other orphans in tow. When exactly was she going to learn to swim, huh?

Maira brought a bathingsuit, or half of one. She's got the top at least, and on the bottom she just wears denim cutoffs. She's standing knee deep in the water, lips pursed as she looks at the water a little nervously. Perhaps it is just kind of natural for someone so atuned to fire to be a little wary of water?

Luckily, the lure of a shirtless Angan proves stronger than her aquatic misgivings, and she begins to wade in deeper. "Alright...so um...what do I do first?"
Angantyr Vespar "Get your feet wet." Angantyr says, with a wry grin. "We're gona let you get a feel for things in the water first. Then, we're going to slowly go farther out. Also, if you feel yourself pulled out by a strong current, don't panic, I'll tell you what to do if it happens. It won't drag you under, just push you out." Rip tides are important thing to be wary of.

"However, I'm told this beach is fairly calm, and there are no storms threatening us, so I doubt a rip tide will happen. Still, safety first." He says.

"Just wade out to me, and we'll go from there. Use your arms to steady yourself like normal, and move them like this.." He moves his arms from infront of him to his sides and back again, as a basic swiming motion, "It will help for the next part."
Maira Oh sure, where he is standing she'll probably by over her head! "Well I'm alright as long as I can touch the bottom but...heh, do you remember when I almost drown in the hotsprings?" he's not likely to forget, as they'd had a most unwelcome visitor that evening!

Just remembering it, Maira narrows her eyes slightly and looks around, half expecting Garland to show up.

Maira contines outward, flailing a little when a wave breaks against her. She manages to stay on her feet though, moving her arms as instructed, smiling nervously as she continues to walk out, coming about to chest level before she stops. "O-okay. Now what? I'm suppose to move my legs or something right?"
Angantyr Vespar "Focus on your arms first, see how you can use them to create upward thrust? Now, when you get deeper out, you're going to kick your legs. Not slowly either, but you'll need to find a proper speed to keep yourself afloat." He says, "Focus on staying in place first, and then we can move to actually propelling yourself." Angantyr says.

"Ugh, how could I not? That was...something. Important, but I guess it was a begining." Angantyr smiles a bit a that.
Maira Maira purses her lips. "Thrust, huh? Very technical," she comments. Her eyes widen when another wave comes, and on instinct she kicks off the sandy bottom as the water deepens around her. Move arms! Kick kick kick kick kick!

Still, the wave manages to wash right over her head. She resurfaces, sputtering. "That did /not/ work," she says. It's simple really, she'd probably actually just /float/ if she relaxed.

Grumbling, she waits for the next one and tries again. This time, she just manages to keep her head above water. When her feet hit the sand again, she hoots with triumph. "YAY! That was good, right?"

"Haha...yeah that was...something alright!" she recalls, laughing. As if Garland wasn't bad enough, she'd practically perished of embarrassment.
Angantyr Vespar Angantyr grins a bit, "Yeah.."

"Just focus on floating first. Gota walk before you can run.." He nearly cracks up at the first wave, and nods at the second. "Relax, don't worry about drowning, I am here after all, and I can easily carry us both back to dry land." He laughs. "Don't be shy now...you can't get better without practice."
Maira Maira laughs, nodding. She's pretty proud of herself! Maybe she'll get the hang of this afterall!

She ventures out a little further toward him, now fully over her head even without the waves that roll, fairly gently, toward the shore. Her head goes under briefly, but she kicks harder and waves her arms, pushing the water down to give herself a push. Soon enough, she is treading water and beginning to relax. "Huh...its not as hard as I thought it would be! I sort of thought I would just sink right to bottom, but I'm kinda floating!"

Natural floatation devices don't hurt.

She kicks forward then and latches onto his waist.
Angantyr Vespar Angantyr avoids the comment, because he rather likes them.

"See, there you go. Nothing to it. It isn't like you're not coordinated." And then he develops a growth.

A wry grin comes over his face, "Maira, I somehow wonder if your desire to swim didn't also come with a certain...other goal, hm?" He asks, aiming to lift her a bit out of the water so that she's closer to him. He's also still standing straight in the water, Ang is a tall fellow.
Maira Maira blushes, then waves it off, rolling her eyes playfully. "Oh not at all, I'm just feeling a bit tired so I needed something to hold onto you know...nothing to do with the fact you are shirtless and sexy, nope," she replies, unable not to grin as she winds her arms around him and clings like a barnacle to the hull of a ship.

Proportions are just about right for that metaphor.

"We don't get a lot of alone time...or any time to really relax," she sighs. "I think its important we all try to do that now and then if we can--we'll just burn out otherwise."
Angantyr Vespar "I don't disagree..though it's hard to justify with the giant dragon trying to litterally eat our world." Angantyr says, with a bit of a sigh. There is a weight on his shoulders now, but he lets it roll off for the moment, shaking his head.

"But I do like to enjoy my time with you." He says letting the chaotic fire mage cling to him like a barnacle.

"We really haven't gotten much chance to do something like this sense the Keyblade thing..." He rolls his shoulder, pulling her into a carry. "I guess you're right, can't let myself get bogged down with all the bad going on."
Maira Maira watches that weight settle on his broad shoulders. "You have a lot on your plate," she agrees. "We all do. Luckily though, you don't have to do it alone," she continues, a warm smile dawning as she settles into his arms.

Her smiles grows, arms tightening in an affectionate squeeze. "I enjoy it too! Not that I don't love beating up the darkness with you and all, but...yeah, downtime is nice..."

"We haven't really...talked much. It's been kind of a whirlwind...we're um, you know, together, right?" she asks, flushing. The curses of pale skin, she'll never be able to hide a blush. "I lot happened, but I want to be sure we're on the same page."
Angantyr Vespar "I think so." Angantyr says, "I mean, I'm interested...your interested.." He shrugs. He looks around for a moment... "Hm. I was expecting that to summon tall, big, and ugly." He muses.

"Yeah...I..." he says, with a slight reddening of his skin.

"I do care for you alot, if...my response over what the Rabbit did to you wasn't enough.."
Maira Is...Is Angantyr blushing? No, surely not. That must be sun burn or something.

"You know, I was actually unconscious for that...but I assume your response was overwhelming violence," which she says, affectionately. Which is kind of weird, but she really doesn't want to get into that whole mess.

Maira takes a deep breath, looking up to meet his gaze. It'd just be cowardly to look away, she thinks. "Well if you think so and I think so than I guess it must be so! You...know I've loved you practically since I first met you, right? No matter how many times I tried to make that go away because I thought it could never happen...well, it always came right back. I won't, you know, say I didn't care for other people...but it always came back to you--and I want it to stay that way," she says, baring her heart.

The world really could just...end tomorrow. There is no time like the present to /live/.
Angantyr Vespar Angantyr is taken back by her words...after a moment...he still is speachless.

Angantyr, however, decides to let his heart speak.

He moves in, aiming to give her a deep affectional kiss right on the lips, holding her as another wave comes over.
Maira Maira's inner dialogue; "Oh my god he isn't saying anything. He's just standing there looking at me, oh my god! I'm going to die if he doesn't say some--"

That inner voice falls silent and she relaxes against him, moving with a sort of magnetic inevitability. Love is a primal force; strong, mysterious, unfathomable in its depth.

Suddenly, Maira has a whole new appreciation for the ocean.

She leans into the kiss and returns it ardently, eyes closing.

When they break apart, her lips part to speak, but all that comes out is a dreamy; "Buuhh...?"
Angantyr Vespar Angantyr smiles a bit after they break, breathing a bit heavily..

"That good huh?" he says, quietly as he holds her in his arms. "I guess I am carrying you back." he says, with an amused chuckle.
Maira Maira blushes again, then laughs, smacking his arm playfully. "I'm not the only one who was struck speechless," she informs him.

Maira raises a brow then, her grin positively wicked. "Back? Who said anything about back..." she says, wrapping her legs around him, reaching one arm behind her own back to unhook her bikini top.

In case he needed more hints.
Angantyr Vespar Angantyr did not need more hints...

One might say this is going to get a whole lot warmer before...

Oh wait there is our fade to black.
