No description.
Aerith We find our pink-ribbon heroine sitting at the bar, drinking a cup of her usual tea with honey, a contemplative expression on her features as she mulled over something that was perhaps quite worrisome. Indeed, her brows frowned, the heads pressed together and eyes narrowed just slightly. What she thought about was anyone's guess, but she's been here for ten minutes without a single word save for ordering her drink.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart hmms as she leans over the counter, peering at the Ancient "What's on your mind? You haven't said a thing." She was so chipper the other night, she has to wonder about that. She was busy herself though, taking care of inventory and cleaning, although she was hmming the entire time to the music heard on the radio, even swaying with the music. She's always in a good mood it seems.
Pixi Pixi slips in behind the bar and slides a teacup full of this weird green liquid to Aerith. "Here, Aerith. Try this." She says softly, obviously worried about Aerith. She then places a hand on Tifa's shoulder and lightly squeezes. "hey Tifa."
Rinoa Heartilly After the long battle in Garden, and a failed attempt to talk to someone in charge, or to track down Squall during the mayhem and chaos that followed, Rinoa returned to Goug, determined to try another time once things had settled down. She had grown frustrated, but also worried about Aerith and the others.

It's in this state that she walks into the bar, Angelo striding quietly beside her, also appearing somewhat tired from the journey here. She peers around, spying some faimlilar faces, smiles and waves to everyone. "Hey guys, wha'ts up? What's with all the glum faces?" Did she miss something? Another heartless attack?
Aerith Aerith gets shaken out of her stupor by the smell of a very strange brand of tea... she looks at the cup, one of her brows lifted in curiosity. Green, is it? Well if it's green, it has to be good, right? Just in case... "Pixi, what's this?"

And suddenly, there's Rinoa! She glances over her right shoulder and smiles at the other resident brunette! "Hi there! Been a while!"
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart smiles and waves to Rinoa "Hi there, nice to see you back. Did you get to meet those you were looking for?" She lets Aerith slip out of attention for now, since she doesn't seem to want to talk about it yet.
Pixi Pixi says, "I grabbed a few herbs from a forest nearby and decided to make a bit of tea with it. I tried it and it tasted great to me. Those particular herbs are meant to soothe nerves and calm you down, even during shock. But you can't drink too much of it. so I'm keeping you to one cup."""
Lumeria Lumeria decides to drop by Seventh Heaven once again. Hopefully, things would go more smoothly then her last visit. It was a good place to gather more information about what was going on. That and get a drink. She sees several familiar faces present, good it didn't hurt to build up some trust. It was easier to learn about what was going on that way.
Aerith Aerith turned back toward the herbal mixture and shrugged. Try it once before you say it's bad, as her mother once said. With that, she took the cup, gave it a sip... and let the flavor sink in for a moment. "Hmmmm... this is quite impressive, Pixi."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart's earlier question gets ignored in fact of tea drinking! Well it is a bar after all. She hmms and goes back to cleaning the dishes. She smiles and waves to Lumeria as she enters too "Come in and relax, anything to drink?"
Pixi Pixi looks up quietly as Lumeria walks her way in, but she looks back to Aerith. "Thanks. It was one of the things I practiced while in the herb shop in Rabanastre. The kids seemed to like the 'weird drinks' I gave them." She then chuckles to her, and then looks to Tifa, lightly nudging her in play.
Aerith The tea helped to calm Aerith's nerves, and she took another sip in swift order. After a few more moments of this, she took in a deep breath, savoring the aroma, then sighed. "Tifa, you can fight, right?" She hefted her staff and handed one end of it over to her. "How good are you with one of these?"
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart shakes her head at Pixi "Shoudn't be giving weird drinks to kids." she smirks, and then blinks at Aerith's question "Of course I can fight, but I'm a hand to hand fighter. The movements are different depending on the weapon, but the basic is the same. What's with that?
Aerith Aerith shook her head. "So what you're saying is that you can't use it?" She sounds somewhat confused by her explanation, as well as a bit disheartened as to what it might mean. "I thought that you might..." Insert flower girl sigh here. "Please elaborate a bit, if you would."
Maira Covering a cavernous yawn with one hand, Maira walks through the door to the bar with sea salt ice cream on the mind. Of course, there are lots of very important more serious things on her mind, but Maira's stomach comes first. She can't think over the sound of its growling! Maybe she should eat something besides ice cream. There's a thought.

The bar is pleasantly occupied it would seem, with quite a few familiar faces! Maira smiles warmly, waving lightly as she slips inside. "Heeeeey everyone," she greets.

The girl is dressed in jeans and a comfy yellow sweater with a rather unfortunately looking unicorn on it. Looks like someone has been having clothes donated to her from Manhattan or somewhere similar!

Maira head over toward Aerith and Tifa, regaining a little spring in her step, happy that she found Aerith again so quickly!
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart hms "Well I don't use a staff to fight, I use my fists. That's because I'm more at ease with it. But I've used a sword before, clubs and staves as well. I mean that even if the movements are different when you fight with a staff instead of a sword or fists, but the discipline behind it is the same, the basic training if you want. I can help you with that part."
Lumeria "Thank you, I'll have a cherry smoothie." Lumeria nods at that as she looks at the staff a bit curiously. She wasn't really trained to use weapons herself. Of course she likely couldn't put too much force behind it to begin with. She looks at Maira as she enters. The woman had an odd taste in fashion.
Aerith Aerith's eyes brightened. "That would be super-awesome of you. I've been worried about that ever since-" Oh. Oh hello, what's this? A very, very familiar aura graces her senses, causing her to pause in mid-sentence. And then she spoke, confirming what the flower lady already knew. "I knew you'd find this place," Aerith replied without turning to face Maira. "Tifa tells me you've been here before though, so no surprise."
Pixi Pixi chuckles to Aerith as she wants to learn how to fight. "I should warn you that most fighting disciplines take a while to learn, Aerith." She then looks to Maira who comes into the bar freely. She smiles as Aerith recognizes her, but she doesn't say anything." But she looks back to Aerith. "I imagine your staff is a heavier version of my spear."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart turns around to start working on the smoothie with a smile "Right away~" She nods to Aerith and Pixi "Its a blunt weapon, it more for batting than spearing, that's the major difference between the two. Otherwise they are similar since you can use the shaft of the spear as well."
Aerith Aerith glanced toward Pixi. "I know... took me a good while to teach myself how to use this thing. Proper training would probably take even longer, I suspect." Before either of them could reply, she shook her head. "It's sloppy and for defense for the most part. It's not for any kind of fighting... and I want-" Aerith planted the back end of her staff onto the floor, making it ping just a bit. "/Need/ to learn how to properly fight someone. I can't rely on my magic forever."
Maira Maira's smile grows as she takes a seat at the bar and her stomach announces for her that she needs FOOD. "Yup! I sure have! Tifa and I worked together some getting the recipe for the sea salt ice cream you know. Now that she sells it, I try to come and have some. It is unexpectedly delicious! I think I might need more than ice cream though...do you have anything to eat Tifa? I have um...." Maira digs into her pocket, pulling out a potion and a couple pieces of pocket lint. "Well, I could trade you a potion for some food?" she offers.

She takes note of the conversation, blinking. Aerith wants to learn how to fight with something besides magic? What an interesting idea! "See, I'd like to learn to shoot a gun. I want to stay far far away from people when I need to fight. I'm squishy."
Aerith Aerith chuckled. She was so adorable. "You do know that a spell from a materia can stop bullets cold, right? A gun can't help with everything. You take three shots, and I could be there in the time it takes for you to fire a fourth, without a single scratch on me." She turned to peer at Maira. "Besides, you don't need one of those anyway."
Lumeria Lumeria nods at Maira's comment. "What's wrong with magic? It's quite capable of dealing with most threats." Of course's she's somewaht limited in that regard. "Materia?" She hasn't heard that term before. Maybe it was a way she could learn dark magic.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart smiles to Maira, and fetches some of the leftover of the huge bowl of steak ramen she made the other day "How about this?" She heats it up beforehand, taking a few minutes, giving her time to finish the smoothie for Lumeria. She hmms as she shakes it up and serves to over to her, sliding on the counter.

She smiles to Aerith "Let's start on the training tomorrow. Its not all about the power behind attacks, but the precision, and that comes with repeated movement, so your muscles and properly memorize the movement, and then get alot faster at it and precise at it."
Aerith Aerith clapped her hands. "Well that settles that! Thanks a ton, Tifa!" Her features brightened, taking on the usual glow they had so many times before. "On that note, I have something important to discuss about the attacks on Manhattan that are apparently being planned by Baron. It seems they were going to try and form an alliance with a nation called Archadia... and I might have thwarted that in indirect fashion."
Maira Maira eyes the big bowl of steak ramen and starts to salivate. "Oh...oh my..." and then OMNOMNOMNOMNOM. Maira shovels delicious, wonderful protein and amazing noodles into her mouth with wild abandon, like a stray cat who doesn't know where her next meal will come from. "This is soooo good," she says in between bites, chewing probably the least amount possible as she makes quick work of the bowl.

When Aerith mentions attacks on Mahattan, Maira swallows quick and then pipes up. "Oh no! Have you told Mercade yet? Gotta tell Mercade. He'll talk to that Xanatos guy who runs Manhattan," she offers.

In regards to guns and things, she considers. "Hmm...I'll have to think about it more...maybe I could combine spells and bullets somehow..."
Pixi Pixi says, "I'm glad you're training her, Tifa. I dunno if I'd have the patience to train someone. Especially in the Viera styles." She then looks to Maira. "Manhattan. Some place I'd rather not visit again in my life....."""
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart hms "Well I always train alone, company can't hurt." she smiles, finishing serving up Maira that digs in immediately "That's Rhyme that told us how to make these ramen, it looks like you like it at least." she grins.
Aerith Aerith placed a hand on her chin. "Xanatos... is that the name of the man you were supposed to be meeting, Tifa? Because if I'm not mistaken, he was at Balamb when it was attacked." Suddenly, puzzle pieces fit. "So Baron... decides that it's time to nip that particular problem in the bud and raze a major technological center to the ground, taking out a thorn in their side at the same time." She cringed. "Maira, I think Tifa and I need to warn him of this personally."
Lumeria Hearing Aerith's comment, Lumeria smiles a bit. That's what she came here for. This girl might prove to be a problem to their future plans. Still she's not going to say anything about this outloud. Instead she decides to ask about something else. "What is this Materia that you spoke of earlier?"
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart nods to Aerith "That's the one. We got an appointement on Friday actually, I managed to contact him. we can tell him then."
Maira "Oh, well, can I come too?" she asks Tifa and Aerith, looking between the two before bringing the bowl to her mouth to gulp down the broth.

She looks then to Lumeria, smiling lightly. "I can show you! Here," she says, then holds out her arm. She places her hand above it for a moment, until something within her arm begins to glow. Out into her hand a glowing orb materializes. "This is materia. It is how people from my world use magic. This one is a fire materia...see how it glows all orangey and flickers? Yeah."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart tilts her head "That's odd, all of the magic materias should be green, not orangey." she scratches her cheek a bit, thinking about that. "Geen is magic, red is summoning, blue is support, and yellow is abilities.
Aerith Aerith wondered what exactly Lumeria was getting at. If she wanted to know more about Materia, ShinRa headquarters was just over past the slums. She had half a mind to tell her so, but it was more than likely a bad idea. And then Maira goes into her own little explanation, so Aerith doesn't have to. Pretty cool, huh? Tifa adds in her own little section, and it leaves Aerith free to observe the woman who'd just asked...
Pixi Pixi wasn't much on materia since she couldn't really use it, nor did she wish to. She does, however, drink another batch of tea she made up, still steaming, from a cup, simply to listen to what Materia can do.
Lumeria "I see, can people from other worlds use it?" It might be a way for Lumeria to get around her problem with dark magic. "And where might one get a hold of this?" It was something she would have to look into more when she had a chance. She takes a closer look at the flames Maira creates.
Maira "Oh...huh..." Maira says, tilting her head somewhat as she looks at her materia. "I never knew that! Maybe I've had a summon all along!?" she exclaims, a little excited (probably for no reason).

Maira puts it back and shrugs to Lumeria, glancing to Aerith. "I don't really know actually...."
Aerith Well she's awful interested in Materia for some reason... of course, who wouldn't be, just hearing of it for the first time? Speaking of which... "So... what's you name, and where do you hail from?"
Lumeria "Oh yes, I should introduce myself. I'm Lumeria Silverdash of the Kingdom of Alexandria." Hopefully, they wouldn't have heard of her working with Baron yet. "I'm unfamiliar with these parts." This is only the second time she's been here after all. "A summon? The ability to use those is quite rare."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart peers at the materia, and reaches over to it, scratching at it with a fingernail "Why is it wrapped in plastic?" Well that might explain the color at least. The glowing is normal though. "Alexandria hm? I think I heard of that name... wasn't there someone from there fighting at Balamb?"
Maira Maira blinks as plastic is peeled away from the materia. Well, not she feels silly. Grumbling about why no one ever told her, she sits there and peels away at the plastic until it is gone.

"Nice to meet you Lumeria. That's a pretty name! Silverdash huh? Does everyone have a last name but me? Maybe I should make one up," she muses. "Oh! Tifa can I get some ice cream?" she says, flashing the woman her brightest smile.
Aerith Okay, freeze.

Time seemed to slow down as her senses began to tick away. The fight at Balamb. She hadn't recognized any of those airships, but she'd seen Jafar's forces and those of Baron's. But the third airship group, the one with completely different coloring and designs... was that Alexandria? And if it was...

Alarm bells went off. Oh hell. Tactical error.

This only took a second as time sped up again, her bright expression unchanged. "So... what happened to your world exactly?"
Lumeria "Alexandria is quite a large kingdom. It's impossible to be familiar with everyone there. It's quite possible you ran into someone else from there." Lumeria decides it's best not to reveal her hand too much this early. Her attention turns towards Maira. "Thank you, and who might you be? We've had our own problems with the Heartless." That was true, but not going into a lot of detail.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart smiles and nods, sliding over to the large frozen bin she keeps the treats in. She pulls out a bar by the wooden stick, holding it up "Anyone else? Sea Salt Ice Cream, one of the only places you can get some." Not exclusive rights, but she got a deal from the hatted duck after all.
Maira Maira doesn't have a bone of guile in her body. Or, if she does, it is a very tiny one. She smiles to Lumeria, not in the least suspicious. "Oh, I'm Maira! Just Maira," she replies.

At the mention of Heartless, Maira sighs. "Yeah...I've fought a lot of Heartless. They are just everywhere. I wonder if there are any worlds out there still untouched by them."

Maira takes the ice cream with a smile and thank you to Tifa, then nibbles on it thoughtfully.
Aerith Aerith's mind raced. That wasn't a direct answer and this Lumeria probably knew it. Something was wrong here... but what?

At this rate, she'd have no choice but to just let her go and tell everyone, in a more private location this time, that the warning was going to be useless now that this potential kink in the machine was found.

This whole process happened in the back of her mind as Aerith responded to Maira's question. "I doubt that everything's been touched by Darkness. It's more than likely that a few locations are still intact, though I'm not sure how the Heartless haven't just eaten everything by now. Maybe a few figureheads made a deal to preserve themselves."
Maira "Mm, some people can control them. Maybe they think it is the only way to protect their world?" she offered.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart hmms as she thinks about that "Yeha, they pop in areas that haven't been eaten, but otherwise they don't seem to be doing much either. They attack people, but the world itself isn't touched. I wonder if there's something in particular that they are looking for, or something that would actually trigger the world falling to darkness."
Aerith Aerith already knew that part. She'd had a nice little chat about it with someone else. But she wouldn't have it here, not yet. "Who's to say? I mean, whatever it is they're looking for can't be easy to find, or everything would be over by now."
Maira Maira takes in this information, pursing her lips in thought. "Looking for something...huh. Maybe so. I wonder what though? The Heartless seem without real thought...but maybe the ones controlling them are looking for something."
Aerith Now there was a good question. The Heartless were easy to figure out. They wanted hearts. The purer the better. But those who controlled the Heartless, what did THEY want? At this point, that was pretty difficult to figure out, but maybe someone would get on that sooner or later. "You ask some very good questions, and make some very good points Maira," Aerith said with a beaming smile.
Lumeria "That's a good question. What could a bunch of a mindless beings be seeking?" Even Lumeria's not sure of that. "It's worth looking into further." After all she can't have them intefering with her plans either.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart nods "That's what I think at least. And their goals seem to be unprecise. Like there are areas that hold no real strategic value that disapeared. I guess there's something hidden in those worlds. Maybe secrets they want to bury."
Maira Maira blushes a little at the praise from Aerith, then continues eating her ice cream until Tifa speaks. "Secrets! Maybe that's it! Maybe they are trying to hide what could defeat Heartless for good! How to stop what is happening. Oooh, I'll have to speak to Avira!"
Aerith Aerith took another sip of the herbal tea Pixi had brewed up. Right, that got her to calm down a bit. And the calmer she was, she more she could think. And then Maira spoke, and Aerith shook her head. "I honestly doubt that's the case. If anything, what the Heartless are looking for could be the very thing that ends this... in no one's favor." Because if a world was completely lost, /everyone/ lost.
Maira Maira's shoulders slump some, but the fire in her eyes remains. She's not ready to give up. There has to be an answer. "Oh...yeah...maybe so," she admits with a frown. Then, om nom ice cream until it is very sadly gone.
Kaydin Kaydin would open the door and walk in, metal boots tapping the wooden floor as he looks about the area. He notices Aerith and company and begins to approach. He gives a nod to Rinoa and then looks to the other women present. "Ladies night?" He asks curiously to the gathering.
Aerith Aerith glanced over at Kaydin as he entered. Perfect timing as always. "Oh yeah, no boys allowed." She grinned. "Have a seat. Plenty of room at the bar." She turned toward Tifa yet again. "So you said tomorrow, you'd start teaching me how to fight, huh? What exactly are we going to do first?"
Lumeria Lumeria nods and smiles upon seeing Kaydin. "Sir Kaydin, how are you doing this evening?" It was good to see him again. "Yes, the heartless must be stopped before they destroy everything."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart smiles "Well, we'll start by checking your current form." She leans on the counter on her elbows toward the flower girl "Then we'll start training some movements, repeating them until you get muscle memory. Its all in the repetition at first. There's no magic about the movements, your attacks become what you train the most. All of my attacks are mostly just punches and kicks after all. They become devastating because I practiced them."
Maira Maira glances toward the door to spot Kaydin, her back straightening in mild alarm. Uh oh. THAT guy. From Baron. Maybe without his superior around he wouldn't try to drag her off.

Maira remains ill at ease, watching the dark knight and not saying a peep, as if he wouldn't see her if she didn't speak.
Pixi Pixi yawns softly as she listens to this. However, she takes another sip of tea and stretches her arms. "mm....I guess I'd better head to bed."
Aerith And yet... here she was, spying on an attempt to stop the Heartless from completely eating a major metropolitan center. Aerith almost wanted to call her out then and there, but never mind. They'd cross that bridge when they came to it. For the moment, Aerith could feel Maira's anxiety as if it were a shroud around the young woman, and placed a hand on her right shoulder as if that would dispel it. "It's okay... whatever happened between you two I'm sure he's put it behind him. So you can put it behind you, okay?" She glanced toward Kaydin. "So you know... Lumeria here?"
Kaydin "Thank you." Kaydin says as he would approach the bar and sits. When Lumeria smiles he nods to her. "I am well, just been deep in thought." He says as he notices Maira. "Relax. I felt the Captain was a bit overzealous." He says and then nods to Aerith. "I was injured from traveling through the corridors and fighting the heartless. In exchange for what munny I had on me, she healed me. Since then I promised to pay her properly for healing me." He explains to Aerith.
Maira Maira looks to Kaydin, listening. At his words, she visibly relaxes, her face melting back into her natural smile. "Oh, okay then! You should try the ice cream," she informs him.

Maira yawns again, then stretches. Now that her stomach is full, perhaps it is time to get some sleep! "Well....thinking I should head back," she says to everyone. "Thank you again for the food Tifa, I hope you make that ramen more often! Aerith, I'll see you soon right? Don't train too too hard!"
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart giggles "Well now that I know how to make it, I might just make more." She waves to Maira and Pixi, as both seem ready to leave now. "You rest well."
Aerith Pay for healing? What happened to just... healing for the sake of healing? Aerith's senses did a flip flop on that. It didn't sound like she was too generous with her talents... But that was far beside the point.

Maira was thus about to leave, and Pixi was about to go to bed, which made things a bit easier. "We'll definitely be seeing more of each other Maira, don't you worry about that. And please get as much rest as you can, Pixi." She'd be needing it.
Lumeria "Well a proper lady, can't go hungry. Correct?" Of course Lumeria doesn't have to worry about money to begin with. Still she doesn't see a problem with having too much of it. "Yes, hopefully we'll get a chance to speak again sometime." She takes a sip from her cherry smoothie with that.
Kaydin Kaydin would watch Aerith with a curious expression. "Your having Tifa teach you how to fight? I thought you used a staff?" He asks curiously as he would seem confused by this endavour.
Aerith Aerith nodded. "I do use a staff. The problem is with the way I use it. It's inefficient, doesn't have enough momentum behind it, and not very accurate." She looked down at her cup of tea. "I can't rely on my magic forever. Something has to change."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart nods "So I'm going to give her some basic training. She should work up her own style of course, but it all starts with the same kind of training. The movements change depending on the weapon.
Lumeria "That sounds like a lot of work." Lumeria hates take any more physical activity then what's needed. "Besides I'm sure I would have difficulty just swinging a staff about." She's fairly frail.
Aerith "It's not for everyone, I'll give you that." She turned toward Lumeria. Now that mostly everyone else was gone... No. No, this wasn't the place for it. Aerith almost sighed. It was her own stupid fault she'd overheard. No need to chew the woman out for it. "It'd be best if some people stuck to what they're good at, after all." Cue a genuine smile here.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart nods "Well you don't get stronger by not training. If you're good with magic, its also because you trained it, isn't it? Of course there's part talent, but there's a good part of effort behind it too."
Kaydin "It's usually why you gt someone stronger and capable of physical fighting to protect you while you figure out how to become stronger." Kaydin says as he looks to Aerith and then just relaxes against the bar.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart smilse "Maybe I should have you train me in Magic in return, be more versatile depending on the situation."
Aerith Aerith nodded. "True. True... but consider this, Kaydin. If it came down to waiting for someone else to save you while others suffered, and saving yourself in order to do something about it, which would you pick?" Perhaps the battle at Garden had affected her more than most would notice.
Lumeria "I'm naturally gifted at magic. Besides, I age slower so it would take me longer to get anything out of it. Is that an offer though, Sir Kaydin?" Lumeria can't resist commenting on that.
Kaydin "I grew up never relying on anyone, Aerith. No one ever came to help me and if anything, those who did come only came to make my life much harder. The fact you can rely on others is impressive to me." Kaydin says calmly. "Do you need protection? I was under the impression that most people generally dont wanna hurt the people who can make injuries go away."
Aerith Aerith smiled. "See the thing is... Relying on others is all well and good, but when you're capable of helping, even in the slightest way, I personally think anyone would want to make themselves better at being supportive. This just happens to be my way of improving myself. Now I don't want to hear another word about it, because I've made up my mind." And that was that.
Aerith Aerith cleared her throat. "Hey, do you guys mind if I borrow our bar maid for a moment? We have some catching up to do." She stood and headed for the back room. "Come on, Tifa."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart hmms, but nods "Okay, be nice with the bar now~ We won't be far." she moves after the flower girl to the back room. That's where her bedroom is, which is just a bed in the back of the room honestly, it hardly counts as anything.
Lumeria "Yes, but the Heartless don't care about such matters. Go ahead I'll just be chatting with Sir Kaydin." Lumeria figures there's more going on here, but she doesn't follow them. She doesn't want to draw too much attention after all.
Aerith Once they were through, Aerith turned, locked the door, and faced Tifa with a forlorn expression, one of despair. "The warning won't work anymore." She headed for one of the chairs in the room and plopped down, her head in her hands. "Or it'll be that much less effective... That Lumeria? She works for Alexandria. They were with Baron when the Garden got hit!" She looked up at the brunette. "And I told her everything, without even knowing who she was!" Aerith sniffed, her eyes welling up with tears that had been waiting to be shed for a while now. "She's gonna report back, they're gonna change their plans, and it's all my fault!"
Kaydin "And what would you like to chat about? I am afraid I am not injured and I have no money. I spent the last of my funds to buy some sort of communication devices which can be used across the worlds." Kaydin says to the woman.
Lumeria "Well, now that your bring it up these communication devices have my interest. They sound like they could be quite useful." Having a way of staying in touch could be helpful. "I wouldn't having some company." Lumeria sounds like she's a bit lonely.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart shakes her head, sitting on the side of the bed, near where Aerith is sitting "I don't think that's the case. I mean, yes she could report, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't be warning them anyway. They might change the way they would attack, but it doesn't change that they will probably attack, right?"
Aerith Aerith shook her head. "You don't understand, they could come from a direction none of us would be able to cover because of this. Attack a location that's way less defended! Even if the second one wasn't the case, they'd bring twice the number of Heartless and double the firepower." She put her head in her hands again. "I'm a real idiot, Tifa. I shouldn't have said anything about it, I was just so... excited." She shook her head. "You're right, we should still warn them, but... still doesn't make this right!"
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart nods, reaching over to pat Aerith's shoulder "There's no use crying over split milk right now though, we'll just have to play with the hand we're dealt when the time comes. Now you understand how Kaydin felt."
Aerith She looked up at Tifa again. "I already understood him... The one I don't understand is me." Aerith sniffed and looked down at the floor again with a sad smile. "Well this is going to ruin that shopping trip we were going to take in Manhattan, huh?"
Kaydin "If you want I can show you where I bought them so you may buy yourself one. Unless your wanting me to get one for you." Kaydin says to Lumeria as he watches her curiously. "You wish me to keep you company?
Lumeria "You can show me, it would be helpful to know where it is." Besides Lumeria's going to have to pay for it anyways. "Well, it gets kind of lonely when you know you're going to outlive most people." She sighs a bit at that.
Kaydin "If I had such a long life span, and with so many people who die before me, I would treasure the time spent with them." Kaydin says as he would stand up. "I am going to be going, taking lady Lumeria with me to the place to get those devices." He calls to the other two as he offers her his hand to the elf.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart holds Aerith's hand, nodding "I know... Well maybe not. We'll see what happens. We just need to be stronger than they are, even with greater numbers, isn't that right? If we take in account that they know about it, we might be able to get extra reinforcements too.
Aerith And of course, Aerith barely heard them through the locked door. She could however, sense their departure. She sighed and stood from the bed. "Guess that's the only thing we can do now, hope we're better, or smarter." She chuckled. "Smarter... right. Fortunately, there's not much they can do about Archadia now, I've put the nail in that coffin."
Lumeria "Yes, that's why I wish to change that." Lumeria takes his hand and stands. "Why should I be the only one who gets to live that long?" She figures there must be something she can do.
Aerith As they leave... Aerith gives a nod, wipes her tears away, and stands from the bed. "Let's go, they're gone." She moves to unlock the door, her mind clear and emotions calm yet again. "I think that's more than enough talk for one night." With that she opened up and gestured for Tifa to go first.
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart giggles a bit "Let's keep that spirit up huh." she nods as she steps out of the back room, seeing the empty place "Well, the rush will soon start. Might as well get ready."
Aerith Aerith's face took on a curious tone. "Rush? You mean this place actually gets full?" She joined Tifa behind the bar. "Well then I might as well help you out. I mean, I'm good for more than flowers."
Aerith If she had sleeves to roll up, she'd be rolling them up right now. Instead, Aerith took off her bolero jacket and put it somewhere it wouldn't get burned, revealing the spaghetti straps of her pink dress. "All right, just let me know what we need to fire up, and I'll fire it up! Don't worry, my mom taught me how to cook, and I'm no slouch. You just handle the drinks and let me see the menu as far as food."
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart giggles "Alright, well I usually ready a bit of food before the pack arrives. I still have some left over ramen though, but we can get a bit more ready."
Aerith Aerith saluted and got some of that leftover ramen ready for pubic consumption. She chuckled as she prepped the noodles and the meat cuts. "We really should put this on the menu, since you make it so often. 'Rhyme's Ramen!' I think that'll be fun, won't you?"
Tifa Lockhart Tifa Lockhart smiles and nods "Sounds good to me. Its not too hard to do, but I should look into getting the real ramen noodles. Maybe I can find some in manhattan too."
Aerith Aerith nodded and really got to work on a few bowls. By the time she was finished, the heavenly aroma of Steak Ramen, with a bit of her own special seasonings thrown into the mix, wafted from the front doors of Tifa's Seventh Heaven... and the rush was underway!
