Faruja Senra Though Heartless certainly appear just about anywhere, the rumors of the beasts hiding out amongst the docks of Manhatten has drawn Faruja here this night. The darkness, combined with the smell of water is enough to remind him of Luca as the Burmecian slips off from a sidewalk, then leaps up to a low rooftop. Landing quietly, he takes a moment to investigate the dock-fronts and the piers extending out. "What a true marvel. And all without the aid of magic? A city of wonders." he comments to himself.
Deidra Deidra had been away from the Agency for the last few nights she'd been tending to family affairs it been the hardest thing to go home after what happened. Lie to her family about it being a costume if only prehaps to see them one last time. She'd collected her things from her room and had deparred on her way home. She'll be carrying a satchel in her arms as she comes in for a landing on the roof aware of Faruja's presence pausing to tilt her head at him.

"So you again Ser Knight?"
Faruja Senra Perk! Those two ears of the rats twitch as he hears a sound of wings, and the Templar turns about. Blink. Why, if it isn't a Gargoyle! "Lady Zia?" He asks, immediately remembering the one from Fluorgis. A pause, and then he notes the hair and outfit. "Ahh, my apologies, I seem to have you confused with someone. Lord's blessings, M'Lady. What brings you upon yonder rooftops this fine night?"

The rat smiles, and offers a bow.
Deidra Deidra pauses for a moment as she knows that name to be certain. "It's all right and wait you know Zia?" The other Gargyole seems to be curious now as she looks the demi human over for a moment "Heading back home with a few things I had to pick up. Halloween is one of the only times of year I can go about openly here." She frowns a little bit "Still how do you know Zia?"
Faruja Senra A brow rises on the ratling's face, a clawed hand rubbing one of his own ears. Tail twitching, he smirks just a touch. "My my my. How terribly ignorant. I suppose that is the way of humans, when living in this cage of steel." He gestures towards the rest of manhatten, briefly shaking his head.

"As for the Lady, a chance encounter in Fluorgis, a city within the World of Ruin. Quite the skittish Lady, I must say, though it seems with good reason. Ahh, but I forget my manners! Templar Faruja Senra of the Most Holy Church of Saint Ajora Glabados, at your service M'Lady. With whom do I share the honor of a mutual acquaintance and fine night air?"
Deidra Deidra says, "Humans can be like that then again we look like the stuff of nightmares to them and with Zia's and my kind being so rare." She tilts her head gauin "What can you do some are not I had to been careful but there's some I trust. I see I hope she's all right, she's a lone wolf and I am concerned for her. She's the only other Gargyole aside myself I have ever encountered." Even with the information of there being a clan here in the city she's never found Golaith and his kin at least yet.

"I'm Deidra, and a Templar hummm haven't been any as such on this world for nearly half a thousand years. I haven't got out to the world of ruin yet save once."
Faruja Senra The ratling rubs his chin, smirking a touch. "A nightmare? My my, if this is what passes for a nightmare in this place, then the breed of humans inhabiting this world are surely a pack of cowards! Lord in heaven, never before have I heard such ridiculous things." A squeak, a cross between amusement and annoyance, is uttered before he finally nods.

"Well met, Lady Deidra. Mmm, one thousand years? That would indeed explain the almost sorcerous technology. But yes, she was safe when last I laid eyes upon her. She decided to lodge for awhile with several companions of mine. Why she insists upon hiding from those that are more than well used to non-humans, I am afraid eludes me."
Deidra Deidra says "They been alone as a race so far as they have known for a thousand years the second race has been in such low numbers and is good at hiding. It's good to know she's all right in her wanderins I found humans from other worlds seem far more accepting of myself at least say in Traverse town. It's wonderful to go in the open to be honest and not have to live azs a theif really. She's lived most of her life on her own I suspect. Like I have I finally couldn't take being a a lone wolf anymore so I took a risk one night when the first gate to the outside worlds opened. Things were crazy as it was and I was spotted pulling one Ser Steiner from the lake in central park. Swimming in full plate is not an easy or wise thing to do. Look we have reasons to be fearful honestly."
Faruja Senra The Burmecian raises both hands, shaking his head. "Ahh, hardly do I mean to question your reasons! I certainly understand being so here. But, I suppose such distrust is ingrained in her. Still...the World of Ruin is accepting indeed. However, the dangers this city possesses pale in comparison. Should you travel, do not do so alone. And visit Cleyra, or Lindblum, if you ever wish to see a society where non-humans outnumber humans."

A long stretch, and the Burmecian looks to the bundle in Deidra's arms. "Ahh, yes, drowning is quite the risk." Frown. He's had experience with /that/ before! "Planning to travel? A touch light..."
Deidra Deidra has only ever two Will and Mercade about what happens when she sleeps. She's not about to tell any random person about that. The stone sleep form means it takes one bastard with made or a sledge hammer and she'll never wake up. She ofte goes to sleep each dawn scared she won't wake up the next dusk. "I done some, the few humans I do trust have been working to map the ways between worlds and into dealing with the hertless. A place where humans re the mintory this is something I have to see."
Faruja Senra Faruja moves closer to the Gargoyle, several paces away now, and leans against the wall of an entrance into the building proper they've both taken as tonight's perch. Looking out to the water as he speaks, he sighs, pondering.

"Truly? A noble endeavor. What do your friends call themselves? And ahh, but Cleyra is a sight to behold! Given thine gifts, " the rat starts, nodding to Deidra's wings. "You would have no need to face the monsters residing within Cleyra's lower branches."
Deidra Deidra says "Well we're also doing it for money too we got to eat after all. I work for a Private Dective named Mercade Alexander, I'm basically his magic expert. Well close as he gets to having one about. Finding anyone who understands anything about magic is likely more rare on this world than Gargyoles are." She tilts her head "Besides this is my home I need to protect it. As for monsters? It's still something i'm getting used to there's not much that could prey on a human or a Gargyole in any large numbers on Earth. That's something humans and Gargyoles share in comon as apex predators."
Faruja Senra The Burmecian raises a fuzzy brow, before nodding. "Ahh, honest work, or so it sounds. 'Detective' agency. Interesting. Mayhap, then, you and yours are in luck. I trust this detective agency of Ser Alexander's deals in information gathering?" A pause. "Hardly did I take you for a mage. Mmm. Must be the lack of robes."

"How fortunate you are, then. Back home, nezumi and human alike are more often than not on the dinner plate. A true mystery as to why. Human flesh tastes terrible."
Deidra Deidra says "Also looking for missing people and robes?" she laughs. "I couldn't fly in that for one, two clothing like that tends to be prone to catching on fire. Look if it's got a mind of it's own and it's confirmed I'm not eating it, it just doesn't feel right to do so. Or was that a joke and ya given what a lot eat I'd not want to eat any on that alone."
Faruja Senra Faruja reaches into his robes, pulling out a flask and taking a sip, tail curling about one of his own legs. "Hardly by intent! Group of bandits you see...for a time, I served within my country's military. Ambushed my squad, captured us. Bound hands, tail, and legs. So we used our teeth." Grimace. Not one of the rat's prouder moments.

"This is why a good mage enchants their robes. Burning away is both embarrassing and quite painful."
Deidra Deidra says "Magic's not something to take lightly int his world as i seen it on others. Even when it was better known it was rare thing to encounter so I have no idea of the tradtions either way can't fly in such so no plans to wear such. Still fair enough and you do what you have to, too surive. I just hope Zia can find somewhere that she can stop running. I'd have gone insane living alone forever like she seems intent to."
Faruja Senra The Burmecian nods to that. "Quite. And to this world's detriment. For all of the damage it can cause, magic too has saved lives innumerable. No doubt many distrust magic, if they even known of its existance. But perhaps White Magic can be spread, at the least, that others may better heal themselves."

A glance to her wings, and a frown. "To be given wings, and yet not fly? How...cruel. If the Lord has a sense of humor, 'tis far too often of a dark nature."

"She is strong. Too strong. One only truly prosphers amongs others."
Deidra Deidra says "It's funny I didn't know how to fly untill Zia taught me to." She frowns. "I thought they were not actually that functional you know?" She grins a little bit. "No I mean can't fly in robes, it be too hard to manouver my wings." She makes a face. "I don't like being street pizza thank you. You should see a creature called the Platus, it has traits of a beaver, a duck, and a snake. I know Maybe I'm a fool for trusting a few humans but ... what can I do? Being alone's worse I think."
Faruja Senra "Mmm...somehow I would think a Gargoyle would simple, well, /know/. Ahh, well, mystery I suppose. To assume with a breed of persons I am quite ignorant of is a folly most dire."

The rat glances over to some of the taller buildings in the skyline. "...Quite. Not a leap /I/ would risk, given a choice in the matter. And hardly a fool. There are quite a few worthwhile humans. More than a few." The rat stands, bowing.

"I should see to my search. Well met, Lady Deidra. Let us talk again, hmm? I am curious about your kind, and Lady Zia is not exactly the most forthcoming of individuals." Then, he's off, leaping from the rooftop to the ground!
