| Stitch | The Search Continues... Stitch, as he's come to be known, is making his way through the Traverse Town at this very moment. He looks focused and driven, but there's also something else hidden within his eye. Something that seems to be pulling him forward as he just makes himself ever so obvious with the way he's not hiding anything that he's doing. But then again... it could just be Christmas. Because he's dragging behind him a HUGE bag of something or other. Wait. Are there shoelaces hanging out of that bag? |
| Riku | There is a bird on RIku's shoulder who is looking at Stitch curiously. Headtilt. SQUAWK. "What? No. It's not--" Riku blinks, looking up from his shoes as he tiredly moved down the street. He just felt like walking for awhile before going somewhere to rest. "Maybe it is. Maybe not." he raises an eyebrow, more curious than anything. "Hey Stitch. What's in the bag?" |
| Stitch | Stitch is a little nervous when Riku arrives. And it's only then does he hurl the bag off to the side and probably far enough to hide somewhere. Granted, it likely gets hooked on something and it opens wide, allowing left shoes of all shapes, sizes, colors and types to fall to the ground. Stitch, however, continues to remain looking as innocent as possible. He shrugs his shoulders. What bag? |
| Riku | "Your right Dee. It was a bag of shoes." RIku snorts, watching the arc of the bag and how does predictably get snagged. A sneaker flops out of the bag onto the street. "Your stealing shoes now? Is that what you did in.." he has to grasp for the name. "Hawaii?" |
| Stitch | Stitch shakes his head, though the truth is very obvious. He's just focused on trying to make sure that everything is looking as innocent as possible. "Stitch on mission." he says, though his body twitches in the next moment and his eyes shift color. It's weird. And then he's leaping up and grabbing onto the nearest sign, twisting it with strength to make sure that it looks opposite! |
| Riku | "Hey! Stop that." Riku is more startled and confused than anything. He looks down at the little blue creature, then at the twisted street sign. "Look. You can't really.. go around stealing people's shoes." Diablo on his shoulder is laughing, the nasty little sound is grating against Riku's confusion. It continues to laugh as Riku shakes his head, shifting his weight. He really doesn't feel like bothering with this-- but he's a little worried what comes AFTER shoes and street signs if the little blue creature's 'mission' includes anything more dangerous. |
| Stitch | "Stitch! Want! LILO!" Stitch is leaping off the sign and drops to the ground, rushing across it and scampering up the next sign. The same thing happens to this one and then he's turning his glowing eyes back towards Riku. His eyes lock on Riku's shoes and it looks more like he's obsessed than on the same mission that he's talking about. It's really quite confusing but he's probably trying to do two things at once. |
| Riku | "Wait. You're looking for someone?" Riku is about as confused as Stitch and Dee isn't helping. The raven just continues to cackle in a mean sort of way, flapping off to perch on a roof nearby to watch the fun. "Is that your mission?" finally he summons a gust of wind to keep Stitch from claiming another Street sign with a quick gesture. |
| Stitch | Frown. Stitch doesn't like being stopped by wind or anything like that. "Lilo." is all Stitch has to say to Riku at this moment, as if that should explain everything. He looks mean and terrorizing, but there's a softness to his voice when he says Lilo. It's like he's fighting for his Ohana and fighting himself at the same time. It's really not working out too well. |
| Riku | Riku doesn't know who this Lilo is, but people come to Traverse Town because they are lost and looking for help. He had himself come here looking for answers. So he tries to keep a lid on his annoyance and confusion and be the one helping, instead of the one being helped. Most of the people being helped don't steal shoes though. Stitch might just be a nuisance in search of a bigger point of trouble. "Look." he snorts faintly, trying to stay calm. "Let me help you. I've been around Traverse Town and mapped the place out a little. Maybe.. we can find your friend." |
| Stitch | "Not friend. Ohana." Stitch is trying to make sure that Riku understands what's most important to him. But being in a Town as Traverse as this one, it's hard for him to not make things more difficult for the people that live here. He's got his attention focused on Riku and scurries across the ground towards him and his feet.... leaping immediately for that left shoe! Gnaw! |
| Riku | Riku is starting to shake his head, not understanding when the little blue creature rushes for his shoes. "Hey!" is all he gets out before his reflexes take over, backfliping out of harm's reach while striking out with a foot in the upwards arc to catch Stitch in the head if it lands. |
| Stitch | Caught in the head, Stitch is knocked downward to the ground. But his body curls up and he spins in mid-air, pushing himself back upwards and extending a clawed fist at Riku! Stitch is not going to go down without some sort of a fight! |

| Riku | Riku gets clobbered. Stitch packs a punch for being so short and blue and-- maybe a dog? He isn't sure. He staggers back a step, trying to grab Stitch's arm and toss him against the wall hard enough to stun. |
| Stitch | Stitch gets himself caught up by Riku's grab and is sent flailing towards the wall of some random building. He smashes right into the wall and grunts, rolling off it and dropping back down to the ground. He's got anger in his eyes and there's not much that he can do except... reach into his backpack for a pair of blasters. He holds them out at Riku and aims. "Stitch find Lilo. No stop Stitch." Seems like the little alien thinks Riku is attempting to stop his mission. And then... lasers. |
| Riku | "What part of stealing shoes and stops signs is going to--WHOA" and then the guns come out. Riku crouches, leaping into the air. He catches the edge of a building, starting to pull himself up when the blasters snap away the railing he was holding onto, causing him to smack hard against the ground with a groan of pain. "Ow." is mumbled as RIku rolls back onto his feet. "Oh man. Have I had enough of this today.. ugh." he cracks his knuckles, a sword materializing in his hand between one eye blink and the next. Spiraling tendrils of water rise up from the gutters and from the air, grabbing at Stitch as Riku sends a stunning wave of air slicing across the street from the passage of a quick swipe of the materialized sword. |
| Stitch | Stitch is unprepared for what's coming. In fact, it is not until the sword materialized does he realize something bad is headed his way. He folds his arms across his body and attempts to block... but it doesn't do much. He's sent sliding backwards and smashing into the wall behind him, taking a lot of the brick and such with him. It is not a pretty sight. "Where's Lilo?!" comes from Stitch's mouth as he pushes his way through the pile of debris he made from impact. A pair of shots are sent at Riku, as Stitch starts to make with the strafing to the side. More shots are fired at Riku as he continues to strafe, putting some distance between himself and his enemy. But then, a second pair of arms pop out of his body and they too are holding Laser Pistols. Which happen to be shooting at anything and everything around Riku. This may or may not cause an avalanche of ruination. |
| Riku | "I don't know!" Riku dodges the blasters mostly, leaping up onto buildings and kicking his way up the alley walls. He swings onto a sign when the blaster burns his hand, causing him to lose his grip. He manages to swing onto a narrow ledge above Stitch. Diablo continues to laugh, squawking with surprise as a sudden gust of wind knocks the raven off the ledge. He squawks at Riku and finds another ledge, out of the blast radius. "Why are you even attacking me? I'm not giving you shoes!" This gave him an idea though, asw the bag with the stolen shoes was not too far away. He digs out a heaby black boot and hefts it squarely at the blue creature. BOOT to the head. |
| Stitch | WHAM! Stitch is slammed into by the boot... which almost takes him his entire body! Not just his head. And Stitch is not ready for this kind of thing. He really isn't. He grunts as he ends up rolling backwards from the impact. And that's when music starts. It seems that Stitch has managed to dig his Ukelele out and he's playing it right now. He's a little dizzied in the head but them music that comes from his instruments has taken physical form and sails towards Riku with an up tempo and painful intent! |
| Riku | Riku has had just about enough of this, and so the physical manifestation drops away as it reaches him, swallowed up by a heat mirage as he leaps down and approaches Stitch and his ukelele with a expression that is at least several ticks along the Torqued line. He is carrying the sack full of shoes, which are trailing shoes as he looks VERY intent on just about stuffing Stitch into his own sack of stolen goods and shaking it vigorously. |
| Stitch | Stitch isn't ready for the quick movements that Riku has and the moment he gets snatched up... he drops his Ukelele. Which is not good because he can't really continue to play music. In fact, it just becomes a useless weapon. He starts to flail, though, when he's snatched up and it's enough to get him out of Riku's grip and he falls back down to the ground. "Ohana!" Stitch skids backwards as he hurls an Experiment Pod into the air! It glows for a moment, shining brightly and the number 601 is completely visible. As it hits the ground, though, it explodes into a puff of smoke and steam. As it clears, there's a large, purple, muscular and beastly creature that looks Tasmanian Devilish standing there. ~ Experiment 601: Kixx Stitch grins and leaps into the air, flinging himself in the direction of Riku! Kixx rushes at Riku from the ground, spinning and swinging his bulky legs and four strong arms with martial arts prowess! |
| Riku | "What does that even mean?!" Riku is forced to drop Stitch, but the flailing creature doesn't manage to tag him with those claws in the process. When they summon big brother however, he frowns even more the heat mirage becoming more intense around him. He starts treating Stitch like a legitimate threat instead of a lost and confused creature. "Okay." He moves out of the way of his buddy, just never seeming to be there when the blows start to land. He ducks underneath Kixx, evading several strikes before standing in front of Stitch again with an ominously blank expression. He doesn't do anything but glare down at Stitch. Nani possibly has a variation of this 'The Look" in her arsenal. |
| Stitch | Stitch is raging! Or is about to rage! The look in his eyes is one of anger. One that is showing that he's more than willing to keep pounding away at this guy that's trying to stop him from finding Lilo. Then: The Look. Which immediately makes him realize that he's not being Good. Which is not exactly what he should be doing. And it's definitely not helping him find Lilo. Frown. Major frown. And the ears of the Stitch even lower at this point. "Stitch... do this?" Stitch is sad as he looks around at the after effects of what he's done to the town. Not good. Not good at all. Meanwhile, Kixx is still off to the side fighting nothing. Oh Cousin. |
| Riku | And that seems to snap Riku out of whatever angry fugue he was entering. He blinks once or twice, then looks down at his feet. He sighs quietly, not seeming to want to blame someone for losing control of themselves. That would be sort of throwing stones at a glass house. Riku stoops down to scoop up the little one's ukelele. He offers it down to Stitch. "Yes." he pauses, then says in a quickly cooling grumble. "But.. I don't think you really knew what you were doing." A sign creaks and falls into the street, the post damaged by blaster fire. |
| Stitch | Stitch shoves the ukelele away into his pack and frowns more. "Stitch no mean it. Stitch just want find Lilo." He's clearly apologetic about all of this but there's no way he can actually just fix all of this in super speed. Well, he could. But cleaning up is not really in his programming. Lilo always made cleaning up into a game. There's another sad sigh and then he's looking up at Riku with Cute Kairi Eyes. "Help Stitch?" |
| Riku | And Riku, of all people, is powerless against Cute Kairi Eyes. He chuckles sourly as Diablo starts to grumble in disapproval. "Oh, go stuff yourself Dee." he mutters to the bird as he nods to Stitch. "If I can Stitch. I'll help you. Let's go find this Lilo of yours." And quickly, before the rest of the town was rendered shoeless. He gestures for Stitch to follow him, looking at Kixx for a few moments curiously, then back at Stitch, shrugs and starts down the street. |
| Stitch | Stitch follows after Riku, before skidding to a halt. He turns around and takes off running after Kixx and holds up a weird looking gun. He blasts Kixx in the back of the head and in a puff of smoke and steam, the Experiment 601 pod is dropping from the air. Stitch catches, pockets and then takes back off after Riku, ready for his journey to begin again. Riku Has Joined Your Party! |
