| Hours after recovering from Riku's itching powder, Lily visits Reize. The two bond a bit closer. |
| Reize Seatlan | It's evening. Hours had passed since Reize's faithful encounter with Riku as a visitor in his room. Unfortunately, Riku left the boy a 'get well and don't be reckless' present in the form of itching powder. It lasted all afternoon. Hours pass, Reize is now recovered from the itching session. Well, somewhat. He still places a hand along the scratching point with no avail. He sighs, shaking his head. He already got up with the assistance of some folks to do the needed duties. But outside of that, he lied on the bed. It's almost time to sleep. How nice it would be to explore the places again. However, when he looks out towards the sky, he can see the stars shine. "...It's nice, being able to see the stars at this time..." |
| Lily | The door creeks open without a knock, and smoothly as you please. Lily's standing there, worry clear on her face as always when she hears of Reize getting in heinous trouble. Even if they've already done everything possible to heal him HOW MANY TIMES now?! "Reize! How are you feeling?" |
| Reize Seatlan | "...Well, the itching finally stopped." The antenna hair flops, then he mutters. "Stupid Riku... him and that itching powder." He looks over towards Lily, able to see the worry on her face. A sigh comes up, then he regards her with that paternal smile, "Sorry to worry you, Lily." He rests his hand along the tarots next to him. "...It gives me a bit of relief to do some stargazing." Not something that he's done, but it helps to do so now, considering what he's involved with. |
| Lily | "You're always getting hur! ... if you're sorry you should stop getting hurt, right?" Well, it seems Lily i stating to get a bit more assertive than before. Experience will do that! But her voice isn't too harsh at all. "Um...Itching? I thought you were hurting..." Curious, Lily hops up on the bed next to reize and peers at his cards. Itching and cards have nothing in comon, so what is he doing? "What are these...? They aren't stars..." |
| Reize Seatlan | Wince. Reize is struck with an arrow as Lily's becoming more assertive in her comments regarding Reize's recklessness. He sighs slightly, "...Sometmes, one gets hurt doing what they feel that they need to do." He offers her a faint smile, "... I can't promise that I won't get hurt. That... is an impossible one, especially for an adventurer." "...The itching came after Riku used his itching powder." And yet, when Lily peers towards his cards, the boy comments, "...These are cards that were painted for me before I was born. Someone who I never met in person gave these to me." |
| Lily | "Never met them? But..." That doesn't make much sense. Lily taps her chin, deceiding to relent instead of press with the way Reize seems to be in more pain from her aggressive approach. She looks between him and the cards confusedly for a moment or two, then reaches out with both hands to gently grab hhis - the one nearest her, anyways. "... every... every time you get hurt, I worry. something's going to happen and you won't come back. Like these worlds everyone says went away..." |
| Reize Seatlan | Pause. His eyebrows furrow as he looks Lily over. She seems to calm down, which is good. Reize, however, just remains silent. After all, there is not much that can be done in this present state. She does take his hand with both of her own. He cheeks slowly turn red when he looks her over. "...It'll take more than that to keep me down." He laughs, "...I'm tougher than that.... this is just a minor setback." He nods slowly, with his head barely able to move thanks to the brace around his neck, he just gives what he can of head movement. |
| Lily | "... are you sure?" Lily sounds not only worried, but a little disbelieving. Yet, without really waiting for an answer, her attention shifts... up to Reize's cheeks. Soon, the attention of her hands follows suit, and she places both palms against said cheeks. "... are you really okay? Yor face... it's all red, like you're on fire! Shiki's did that sometimes too..." Of course, she's yet to realize when her own are. Which they are right now, a little. |
| Reize Seatlan | "Of course I am---eh?!" He is caught by surprise when Lily's hands move over towards both of the boy's cheeks. Her hands can feel the warmth of his face as along wih the heat forming. "Wh--what are you doing?!" But as she comments about his cheeks, the boy grunts and he says, "Well, so are you!" His antenna hair points accusingly towards Lily. His eyes widen, the gaze locked onto Lily. His eyes are soon gazing towards Lily's eyes, the cheeks darkening. "I mean... I am not the only one! Your cheeks are definitely red too!" |
| Lily | "Wh-what, me?" Lily lets go and confusedly touches her own cheeks instead. "... I don't know what red feels like. Can you feel colors?" She murmurs out about ten seconds later after showing a very intense look of concentration. The frustration in her voice can't really be understated though. "I-is it bad though? Are you alright?!" |
| Reize Seatlan | At Lily's frustration, Reize's cheeks puff up in his own bit of frustration. After all, he cannot exactly move in this state. He has no way of showing her. Instead, he huffs a bit. "Y-yeah! I'm alright! And.. you can't feel the color! You aren't even aware of it and all!" Reize's eyes remain closed, thinking over the matter. Still, it doesn't help that Lily is so close. "I mean... uhh...." His eyes drift, looking towards Lily. It is a bit of uncomfortable silence, but his eyes does remain on her. |
| Lily | "You mean...?" Lily echoes, head tilting curiously as she lets go of her own cheeks and takes up Reize's hand again, squeezing it happily. "... I wish there was something I could to help. We've already used all the magic we can..." |
| Reize Seatlan | As Lily finally lets go of her own to go after his cheeks again, both eyes widen once more. As she squeezes his cheeks happily, Reize's is sweatdropping. Of course, Reize's face is close to Lily's now. He can't move and he is uncertain as to what to do. However, as his eyes are drawn towards Lily's... For some reason, he can feel his heart beat a bit faster. "..It's something where time and rest has to come in and...." |
| Lily | "Rest is good!" Lily blurts out happily, still blushing like mad and wearing a completely innocent look. Because well, that's how she's feeling, obviously. "When you were plagued by that poison taint... I finally... felt like I could help you for everything you've done to help me... even if it was just helping you rest..." She stops speaking too, but does start blinking a little, as if mesmerized by whatever's up with this closeness. The awkward silence begins. |
| Reize Seatlan | Lily's innocence matches with the boy's naivity, in some way. If there is one thing that is certain, his heart is beating really fast. His eyes cannot take itself off of Lily, mesmorized by her. It is funny how things have change on what he considered Lily as earlier. Now, it feels like there is a bit of a dramatic change. Reize's head cannot move too far, but Lily and Reize are becoming closer. With her hands holding his own, he doesn't quite let go. And yet... His eyes shut, everything is becoming faint as he closes in with her. Their lips are close, and his part slightly. Nothing is said, allowing silence to take over. |
| Lily | Leaning over Reize, eyes wide and glassily showing how mesmerized she is, Lily starts to get a little bit drowsyeven as her heartbeat increases for unfathomable reasons. And then, it happens. The hand she's using to support herself with slips in balance, just a little-- "Aah-mh?!" It's just a matter of a few inches , but those are two CRUCIAL inches. It's the measurement keeping their lips seperated, after all. The tiny slip brings them together, bewilderment shining on the girl in white's face the moment they touch! |
| Reize Seatlan | The stare between the two lingers for a nice while. Reize is unable to keep his eyes off of Lily and possibly vice versa. As the drowsy gae lingers, the clumsiness of the girl strikes true. !!! Both eyes snap open as he comes out of the daze. When they are brought together, the boy is brought close to Lily. As Reize is close with Lily... His lips part and both lips connect. The antenna hair sticks up as high as it can go. And for some reason, as the lips connect together, Reize's body relaxes as he gives in to kiss Lily. His first kiss... |
| Lily | It does last a while. After the initial wide-eyed shock, LIly ends up closing her eyes and adjusting a little for comfort, holding the kiss for a fair ten seconds or so. It's innocent, just bare contact, but after the first several seconds she presses in firmly.. and this will keep up until Reize has to get a real breath. Because she doesn't need to breathe. Still, when she does pull away, the girl's whole face has become blushing bewilderment, and she doesn't seem to even have any words, only a few stammered, confused noises to offer. |
| Reize Seatlan | That kiss, Reize's first kiss, lasts only for a moment, until he starts to retract the kiss, needing to breathe and to figure out WHAT did he just do. When he recovers from the kiss, Reize's cheeks are burning red. "..." He just stares at the girl, uncertain over what to do or say. Instead, he just says, "...Wow..." And he offers the same stammered, confused nose. Confusion all about. |
